I'd have to agree that Alakazam is probably the most inteligent. I'd feel pretty insecure if I had a pokemon on that level.
I think I also remeber something about Lapra being up there, too. Not on the psychic level, of course, but still.

I don't know, maybe they compare a bit to dolphins. And those are pretty intelligent as far as I know...

Im thinking Alakazam in turns of wiseness, Metagross in terms of Mathamatical and computers and Mewtwo in terms of human behaviour.
Also TR's Meowth must be pretty smart to learn to talk without being born like it or have special powers.
