Who is your favorite Unova league rival?

Trip is my favorite because he is the only rival with a defined plot. He is also the only rival who doesn't seem either too goofy (Bianca and Kotetsu), too generic (Stephan), or too gimmicky (Virgil). I am still a fan of all of them though.

Not Trip because he's too much like Paul, not Stephan because his only real gimmick is that people mispronounce his name, not Virgil or Kotetsu because they didn't show up enough. That makes Bianca my favorite because of her constant joy, adorable personality, and her Embroar is an absolute beast.

Beast as in? Back up your statement. He's not that strong, he's average. People even consider him to be weak.

I always liked Trip since day one. Who knew his Serperior would be a star role. i would have liked his fire lamp and his other pokemon to have shined more but hopefully the writers won't treat rivals like that again.

Actually, I change my mind. Bianca has far more development than any of these poor excuses of rivals. That episode where her father appeared just proved things to me.
