Who is your favourite Gen 8 starter so far?

I'm tied between scorbunny and sobble. I'll need more info before I make a decision unless I get both versions in which I would get one of each <3
Not fond of primates so grooky is not in the running for me.

I need time to warm up to Sobble. It’s generic.

At the moment, I'm going for Sobble, but I can't make my definitive descision once their evolutions are revealed.

Judging from it's bio and the way it was portrayed in the trailer (Being really timid and appearing from the water like a ghost), my hunch would be that Sobble will evolve into something resembling the Loch Ness monster with a Water/Ghost typing

Having only just seen all three and based on looks/ design alone, I’ve got to say I find all 3 underwhelming. First impressions have not been great. That’s not to say I might not get used to them with time, I’ll have to wait and see.

I want to like Sobble but its face seems off putting, Grookey just looks ugly - probably the worst looking monkey Pokémon out there. It’s not in the cute department like Chimchar or Aipom and I didn’t think I’d say this but it makes Mankey look handsome. So right now Scorbunny seems the best of a poor bunch.

I hope it evovles into a Football player with a tracksuit fur motif. I can See Sobble turning into a Loch ness Monster sail boat thing and Grookey maybe being a Neanderthall cricket player.

So I started digging into some of the UKs native reptiles and amphibians cause I was curious about Sobble. Turns out, the UK literally has, like, 2 reptiles and 3 amphibians that are native which isn't much lol. So, the one creature from that list that stuck out like a sore thumb was the great crested newt! Now, Sobble totally makes sense lol and the small crest on its head is a dead giveaway if you ask me lol. Love Sobble and can't wait to see its final evo!

Don't look too deeply onto the "Lizard" label. Salandit-line and Charmander are also called lizards, even though both of them are salamanders.

Well i used to loved bunnys as a kid,so i go for Scorbunny but final decition will be based on their final evolution.

Scorbunny was my favorite upon first glance, but the more time I have to think about it and look at them, the more my love for Sobble is reaffirmed.

Well you have to admit, its feet and the curl of its tail (plus its tree climbing skills) all link back to chameleons too. No reason it can't be some kind of hybrid in its inspiration.

So far, I only slightly like Scorbunny, and hopefully its final evolution won't disappoint me, since the last fully evolved Fire starter I actually liked was Typhlosion.

All three of em look really cute, depending on the evolutions i might use multiple starters in my team for once. Though to begin, sobble will be my pick. Love them water critters.
