Who likes bug types?

I'm not so sure bug types are any good. Especially ones like Beedrill. C'mon he sucks. Almost any other pokemon can beat him. So, do you like bug types like him? And if so, which ones???;292; ?

I personally dont like battling with bug types because near the end of the game they become too weak. But i alwyas catch a butterfee/Beautifly @ the beggining of a game.

I don't really like bug types, but Butterfree helping me out a lot with Koga's gym (off topic), and heracross rocks with guts, facade, and a high attack in the battle frontier.

The only good bug type Pokemon is Heracross and maybe Ninjask for Baton Pass but still Heracross is the best.

Heracross is top of the class for sure! Well I do really like heracrosses next to Jolteons.
Next would be Forretress...KA-BOOM! Pretty slow but can pack quite a punch.

I like Bug Types. Bug is one of my favorite types. Ninjask is the best batonpasser in the Game, IMO(and a good sweeper too). Also Shedinja, Forrestress, Heracross, Armaldo are awsome pokemon.
Bug Types were rather weak in R/B/Y but with every Generation they got stronger.

I like Bug Types. Bug is a great type to use against grass, psychic and dark.
I love to collect Butterfree. Heracross, Butterfree, and Masquerain.
But bug pokemon can pack a punnch in your party team. you will never know.

Ariados is a bug type, so I can't, in good faith, say that I don't like them. Other than Ariados though... I can't say I ever train/battle with them either. =/

i like a few bufg types and they are Shedinjina, Ledian, Heracross and Pinsir. but i only train Shed and Ledian.

I'm not a huge fan of bugs, but some of them (Armaldo, Scyther/Scizor, Heracross, Ariados) are pretty cool.

Bug is my 2nd favorite type.

I hope ilumise and volbeat get the electric/bug evolution. it´s the best type comination IMO excluding cradly one. With thunderdance it loses the weakness to fire and illumise learns water pulse so it can counter some STABed rock slides.

Beedril has one unique attack that´s excelent, but just it learns this attack, it´s twinneedle, it can break a sub. (if you already dealt some damage before) and it can poison!

Megahorn is by far the best bug attack that helps the pokémon that learns this attack,like heracross and nidos and their weakness to psychic.

Silver wind is a good attack too, especially for baton passer scizor.

Armaldo holding choice band + furry cutter can deal a HUGE damage in opponent specially in double battles.

Ninjask is by far the best baton passer we can have, with 4 substitutes and 2 protects it can maximize next pokémon speed and if it didn´t got the substitute broke it can use swords dance to boost little more your next pokémon.

compoundeyes is the most useful ability IMO, it makes sleep powder and poison/stun spore 99% accurate, the same than spore/thunder wave and more accurate than toxic. Compoundeyes is an ability for just bug pokés.


Bugs ARE great pokémon, they just didn´t got their opportunity (yet!)

Bug pokemon Rule!!!, especially Caterpie, although it's very weak
But ones like Scyter, Scizor, Heracross and Ninjask can be Real good!
I don't use them a lot, but that don't says they aren't cool!!

I dropped Beautifly soon after she evolved. Not because she was weak, far from it. But I knew that eventually, she wouldn't be as useful as before, and I wanted to break in my new Skitty.

I suppose some are good. But I only like Scyther, Pinsir and Scizor.

I think the Bug-type got the short end of the stick. Gamefreak have made countless Bug/Flying combos, which just plain suck.

Look at Surskit for example... that Pokemon had so much potential, but what happens.... another Bug/Flying type.

Still, everytime I've tried my own 'monotype challenge', I've chosen Bug, just because IMO it is a challenge.

My fav Bugs are Heracross, Ariados and Scyther anyhoo.

My favorite Pokemon is bug type.
There are some pretty good ones out there like Heracross, Scizor, Pinsir, Scyther, Armaldo, Ninjask, etc. I think bug types are great.

And then Bugsy uses Metpod...
