~Moogle Town~

Here is the start of a side project that I will be doing. In every Final Fantasy game there is a different type of Moogle. Whenever I have free time I will be scratching a Moogle from a specific Final Fantasy game. Comments and criticism are welcome.

This is very well made, but the only thing I would suggest is adding the brown fur around the neck and changing the ball on its head to orange. Unless that is the one from Mario Hoops 3-on-3, then you got it right.
I really like how you kept the black to a minimum on this sprite. If that isn't black on the string/rod/antennae, then well-done anyway. It makes the sprite pop! Everything is so smooth and perfect looking that it makes it seem so cute and realistic(in a cartoon kinda way). My only suggestion would be to give its head a highlight. It may make it look better, or it may make it look worse. No harm in giving it a go right?
All I can say is that i can't wait 'til you make the Final Fantasy XII one. That's gonna be hard to do.

Thanks, very nice c+c. ^^ Yes, I had black outline to begin with but turned out looking weird because he is suposed to be light and fluffy. The is not one single hint of black on the sprite. The antennae on his head is a very dark red. I see what the highlights will do to it, thanks for the help.

Yes the FF 12 one will be challenging but I am up for it.

Next, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Moogles.

Great job. The shape of the nose kind of irks me, though; maybe it's just me, but I think it should be rounder.

Sweet May: I know, I did but no one was commenting on it so I figured making a thread just for the moogles would work and it did.

MoltresGuardian: Ya the nose is supposed to be like that but it still looks funny, oh well.

I tryed to add some highlights to him but not sure if it looks any better. And I do not believe that he has brown fur arond his neck in that game.

Unless this is from a different game other than Final Fantasy 9 and you just made a mistake on the game's name, or it does have brown fur. I hope I'm not being rude by pointing this out, hopefully no offense is taken.
I play these games too, even though I haven't played that one for ever, I'm pretty sure it has brown fur.

If I am mistaken and that is teh wrong Moogle, then sorry for my mistake.

Well, now for sure I will never trust google ever again. I will try and find out were that moogle came from and will in the future do a true FF 9 Moogle. Thanks for the help.

Edit: I looked it up and it looks as though he is from Final Fantasy Tactics. Correct me if I am wrong.

Moogles are most easily recognizable as characters in the Final Fantasy video game series, as well as notable appearances in the Kingdom Hearts series (which is largely based on the Final Fantasy series). This one above is circa FF3/FF6 if memory serves correctly.

Aquakip: I believe that they are all in FF3/FF6 but not entirely sure. I think it is easier to make the sprite of them than to tell which game they are from.

As you can tell I did not add the fluffyness to the entire body, only to his fluffy ball on his head. I don't have the patience to do it nor the time.

Explaining which type of Moogle is in which game, for me, would be hard to explain since I know the FF world far too well and explaining the intricacies behind why and what type of moogle appeared in the games would be time consuming and difficult. *I'm lazy*
