Typhlosion isn't the best there are other pokemon that can take it down. Try getting a better moveset to.

Hey he can learn all the moves I listed by the way, but if I was using this as a battling moveset I would go with Super Latios's set becasue it can take care of most things. And to all of the other people, this is just a sweet pokemon and u can't denie that. He may not be able to beat everything, he is still wickedly awesome

I like Caterpie. Is Caterpie the best pokemon ever? No. It isn't.
Typhlosion isn't the best. Its just a good-looking starter with good stats and
you may use it as a fire pokemon. Isn't bad but isn't the best either.

I really hate Typhlosion. And its stats is just an unimaginative Charizard rip-off, although I can't understand how Typhlosion can be so fast.

Almost every pokemon is good if you use good moveset/nature+EVs and if you have good strategies/you know how to use your pokemon in the battle.
Which pokemon is cuter- you have own taste, and I have my own.

typhlosion is pretty cool but hes not the best, i would much rather have charizard or blaziken b4 i would ty but they all three are rilly good

I hate typholosion, it's a typical fire type that provides no stratergy appart from the sunny day/fire moves/solarbeam combo
Oh and grass types can own it anyway,
Meganium, cradilly, Shiftry, are good examples, there like lil' cater-p said there is no best pokemon there are only favorites

Typhlosion being the best Pokemon? That's laughable.

Skitty's my fave but it's not the best. I could evolve it into Delcatty to make it stronger, but I'm not a fan of Delcatty and I like Skitty the way it is. I'm with Little Caterpie on this one.

Oh yeah, and saying that a Pokemon can beat another is a silly excuse to prove that it's not the best Pokemon. Every Pokemon can be beaten so that's a pointless argument.

As for the moveset, I'd give Typhlosion:
- Flamethrower (reliable fire move)
- Earthquake (again, a great move)
- Strength (it can be used against all types, except for ghost but hey!)
- Thunderpunch (For against water and flying, electric is a generally good type!)

I'm generally an offense over defense battler if you haven't noticed from the moveset I suggested, I like to just take out the opponent right away instead of building up for an attack because what if your opponent takes you out first before you've finished your building up for a big attack?

But anywho, there is no best Pokemon.

I think a Typhlosion is cool it has been one of my favorites since gold/silver(hence it's release) and i can get one on my fire red because i have a quilava.
