Who Wants to Trade Pokémon?

It's time for a Pokémon Trade Event in Vermilion City. Trainers from all over the world have come to take part. There, Ash & Goh meet a trainer from Sinnoh who describes herself as a Bug queen of Sinnoh and says she'd like to offer a trade for Goh's Pinsir. Goh is reluctant so instead decides to help the trainer catch a Pinsir of her own. However, when the trainer uses some Honey from Sinnoh to attract Pokémon, the results are not what they intended. Will Goh help them find a Pinsir or will he trade his away?

To summarize:

- Ash fought the Bug Girl in a PWC battle. Pikachu vs Heracross, he won, rank increased.
- Morpeko appeared again, it seems to have eaten Team Rocket's food, is it following them?
- Go fought off Team Rocket with Bug Girl's Heracross (well, fought off Meowth, lmao)
- The Bug Girl decided to trade her Heracross for a wild Pinsir that Go caught in today's episode because she noticed there's like a romance between Go's original Pinsir and her Heracross. (Plus she revealed she has like 5 other Heracross lmao)

So really, the big events of the episode are:

- Go got a Heracross
- Ash's rank increased
- Morpeko appeared again

Otherwise dull episode.

Meh. Trio saved it for me, never thought I would say that. Drapion and Scollipide were useless. Merpeko idk is it part of the Trio now 5/10

Meh episode
Goh kept his pinsir and also got a heracross
Ash never got another aipom

And are they pretending ash is getting focus in every episode by giving him 30-40sec. Lame Battles
So is morpeko part the now tr now??
Tr didn't even use scolipede and drapion what was the point of calling such strong Pokemon when meowth and wobbuffet had to fight

I didn't even want something like this. Because it's just Pointless Pikachu focus.

For this one instance, Go fans have every right to complain about Ash's PWC battle being included here. It wouldn't have made the episode any better for me, but I wouldn't have rolled my eyes because OF COURSE Ash uses Pikachu. Can't wait for Gengar running away episode, because at least that would be more deserving than Pikachu's.

Although I guess they wanted to show that a character can be linked to PWC and Go so I guess there's that.

Wasn’t Ash’s rank in ep30 901? Either he lost a battle between then and this episode or other trainer battles have pushed his ranking back, since it was 910 before the battle with the high queen.

Given that someone could easily have dyslexia well maybe not actual dyslexia but a brain fart in the style of dyslexia (I've had those before, not true dyslexia but just brain not working for the moment either due to be tired or otherwise), either they meant to animate it as 901 or Ash's rank was supposed to be 910. I would assume they just messed up.

Haha it's funny how ya'll are surprised Ash keeps using Pikachu for the two second battles. He literally always does this. Pikachu is the go to montage battle mon.

It's why Pikachu's record is so much more bloated then the rest of Ash's pokemon by the end lol.

Who said we're surprised? We're pissed, there's a difference.

Nobody is surprised. People are annoyed. This is a recurring problem in this series. Ash has a nearly full team, but Pikachu gets most of the spotlight.

My point in saying surprised is even that people bring it up lol. There's no point. It's easiest to use Pikachu since he's always out, less cost for the animators plus now they justified it that Pikachu will be a brat and throw a tantrum if not used the most.
