Who would win in a fight: torchic or cyndaquil?

Cyndaquil would sweep Torchic due to the simple fact that Torchic is the worst started ever.

Torchic. Beak+eyeball=blind cyndaqui...oh, I'm sorry. Am I supposed to assume the happy fun harmless take on Pokemon moves? And come to think of it, Cyndaquil's eyes are always shut anyway so how would pecking out said eyes work? And why am I even typing this when I could be baffling you all with rambles of half-mecha snakemice with helium spoons for tongues as proof that I probably should be asleep instead of posting?

In any case, I still say Torchic, due to one sentence: TORCHIC used ROCK SLIDE! Sadly, the best Cyndaquil could do is Mud Slap, not to mention that its ATK is worse even though its DEF is SLIGHTLY better.

But I like both as Pokemon equally, and in the happy fun harmless land of Pokemon that's all that really matters and if you say otherwise chances are you're part of an evil team and the protagonist is going to kick your arse in a battle at some point.

Anyway, lvl 45 or lower, torchic wins because it gets better attacks faster. Otherwise, cyndaquil because its stats are slightly better.

i'd say cyndaquil, since if it evolves quicker, then it'll evolve into typhlosion faster, and then match with a later blaziken and aerial ace it..
