Why it's so late? The 8th movie takes place during the Battle Frontier saga.

We're not in that saga yet. It's not *late* by any stretch of the imagination, it's simply not supposed to come out yet.

Maybe you're also simply comparing it to the release of Movie 7's dub. That happened way too early. It was well less than a year after Movie 6's dub release, and the gang had several Pokemon that hadn't been featured in the series as of then (May didn't get Combusken until like 2 or 3 months later).

Still, they should wait until after "The right place at the right Mime" to release the movie, May gets Squirtle and leaves Bulbasaur, Beautifly, and Skitty, Ash gets Phanphy back, it explains everything! That's actually what I think they're waiting for IMO

Unless KidsWb purchases the movie and airs it on Saturday mornings (like they did with the Deoxys movie) I think we won't see it until the summer. (The DVD that is).

If KidsWb gets this movie though, I hope they time their commercial breaks better. They did horrible pacing when they aired movie 7.

And, ya know, chop it properly so the entire thing fits on the screen. And not completely cut out vital parts.

On second thought, screw it. That's not gonna happen. I'd rather just wait for the DVD.

Well it's going to be released in spring 2006 and spring lasts from March 21 to May 21 IIRC.Not quite summer break for me.

As mentioned the 8th movie has already been dubbed. In Japan it came out I think after or in between the [SPOIL]factory[/SPOIL] battle.

I hope it airs on Tv that way I can record it =3 and I'm still going to buy the DVD most likely.

Don't worry, that is net saturday so it won't happen before that episode

Cybercubed's right. We're not even in the Battle Fronteir yet, so it's not ''late''. Back on topic, 4Kids dubbed it. I can't wait to here about Manene's dub voice.

If they don't keep Puffy AmiYumi's Song of Origin in there, because they're Japanese, and American kids don't speak or understand Japanese, then there is something wrong with us all, because most of us are Puffy AmiYumi fans! Me? I got Kaznapped, one of the figurine sets, and I have MP3s of Song of Origin and Nice Buddy!

But that's being off topic.
