You can check what a user is doing by clicking on their username on the 'Who's Online' list to view their profile. I think it says something along the lines of "x is viewing/posting in x'.

That's odd, that works on other forums I go to but not here.
Yes, on Pokemon Community, it works, but I guess that this site cannot afford such a feature :S
It is here, I've seen it happen before on a proxy at school.
Under someone's avatar in their profile there's a 'Current Activity' section under Last Activity iirc where you can see what a user is doing atm.
For example:
Alloute
Current Activity: Searching Forums
