Who's Stronger

Riva

The Olive Kitsune
Who's stronger a trainer? Jessie or James? There's no denying Cacnea has gotten the better of Seviper twice with its' Needle Arm, despite type disadvantage.

Care to debate?

James is better, I think. He showes more love to his Pokémon than Jessie. At least, the most time...

James is the better trainer. [spoil]He did win that orienteering contest after all.[/spoil] And he always seems to be the one who can actually win. (How many times has Jessie failed at a contest in the first round?)

James only won the oreenteering contest because Jessie sabotaged everyone else, ,
james is better at battleing, but jessie is better at being imaginative she comes up wiv awesome contest appeals.

but James is a stonger battler than her
he beat her to a pulp in manene house of relaxation

James is better than Jessie. He is a better battler while Jessie is a better contest appealer.

James definatly. He actually cares. Remember when Jassie used Chimecho in a contest and he wouldn't let her use Double-Edge? And he has a Growlithe which I hope he gets back and it has evolved(Not a spoiler cause it hasn't happened anywhere) and he has a Gyrados somewhere. For all we know he still has the gold Pokeball so he could recall it at any time.

James may have the weaker pokemon, but he's definitely the better trainer. He's beaten three twerps (Ash, Brock, and May), compared to one each for Jessie and Meowth (both Brock, poor guy). He has proven good at strategy, as seen in his wins in "One Trick Phony" (over Ash) and "That's Just Swellow" (over the guest star of the day). And he's gotten better with time ("The Ultimate Test" battle would be something he'd want to forget LOL). If the trio would ever quit Team Rocket, I could see James doing a pokemon journey and Jessie trying to be a coordinator. And Meowth could be both Max and Brock. LOL :)

Yeah, ok!
Jessie can be a good battler sometimes, but she loses her focus and always gets frustrated...which usually leads to her defeat.

gee that's swell
Well, its kinda a hard choice, but I think James is better. He's got Cacnea that knows Pin Missle, Needle Arm, and I think I even saw it use Tackle once. And then there's Mime Jr. that knows Tickle for sure, and probably some other good stuff. His Chimecho was awsome too for its Heal Bell, Screech, and Double Edge.

Then Jessie has Seviper that only knows Wrap and Poison Tail. Then that useless Wobbuffet, who's Counter rarely works.

So yeah, James is much better

WHERE IS PIDGEOT?!
theyre both pathetic and dont know how to battle. but James is nicer (and you can just imagine him joining ash and co). although i was quite impressed with Jesse and her contests, like making Mime Jr use Psychic

I think James is better cuz he takes better care for his Pokemon and won that orientering contest.

....when the hell did that happen?

Anyways, Jessie is the stronger trainer, because she's blatantly in peak physical condition. Both her upper and lower body strength have been made quite evident on numerous occassions and...

...Oh right. You mean in battle? Well, that's no fun, now is it? :/
I actually think they're both pretty competant battlers, though unfortunatly the circumstances are never in their favour thanks to the prick with the ink pot and quil. A thorn in any aspiring villain's side.
Jessie however, lets her personallity get the better of her, and tends to fly off the handle at a critical point of the battle. If she could learn not to let her emotions get the better of her (or damn, maybe even use her rage to her advantage), she'd be winning many a contest. Y'know, providing she steers clear of Haruka.
James is the more strategic of the two (hey, he most have those TCG cards for a reason), and is more level headed. Which, to put it bluntly, makes him better than Jess.

Well, if Jessie knew how to use Wobbuffet, she would be, but she's proved her incompetence on multiple occasions. Especially that Johto episode with Duplica.
I'd have to agree with everyone else in this thread in saying James is more skilled.

James cares more and the show seems to imply that if you want to win, you have to care. But I like Jessie's personality and anger.
With pok'emon James is stronger. Without pok'emon, Jessie is stronger.
