Why 90% of peoples insist that Cynthia should be the strongest trainer in the world?

They also treat Cynthia the same as the toughest to beat in the gen 4 game, yet I haven't had a problem with her lately - in fact, she was really easy to beat, especially at Platinum.

However, I will skip the details of the game, but let's focus on the anime. Leon is the current world champion and he is the G-Max specialist.
Cynthia might reportedly has no experience G-Max battles, and neither did Ash have the same experience when he fought Leon for the first time.
If Leon hadn't used any G-Max, he would most likely have lost to Cynthia - that's why he never leaves Galar, just waiting for more opponents to beat in Wyndon Stadium.

I will just write my opinion here, I think that many people overstate Cynthia is hard to defeat. She's just the most overrated trainer.
And what is your opinion that Cynthia should be the strongest trainer in the world despite never having any experience with G-Max, even Z-moves?

She isn't, simple as that. Leon is, the anime made that CLEAR. People still trying to pretend she's the best based on their logic are just plain wrong and petty. The anime has literally spelled it out for you, Leon is the strongest trainer in the world

We don't need to, There's still more credence for Leon being better then Cynthia and claiming otherwise is pure fanboyism. He's called the strongest trainer, is ranked no. 1 in a tournament Cynthia is in too, and in said tournament Ash is set to battle Cynthia as well but his MAIN obstacle and challenge would be Leon....that's telling af

I think that it's a holdover from the original games where Cynthia was actually pretty tough, in the anime where her Pokemon hardly struggled in battle, and at the time Cynthia and Lance were the most helpful with the evil teams, mostly in the anime of course. People tend to give a lot of respect to the characters that actually do things and have the power to back it up.

Probably because we seen Cynthia much more in action than other champions as she beat every trainer she face easily but than again all those trainers are either E4 or much weaker than E4 so it's not surprising

While we seen characters like Leon struggling because he face champion level trainers who can give close to equal fight to Cynthia
