Post your theories about why Brock's eyes are closed here!
I think it's because he likes digging for fossils in Mt. Moon. The darkness there may have caused him to lose the use of his eyes, just like many animals that live in caves.

Misty made brock so injured for looking at girlz so he was forced to keep his eyes closed,well if u want a good answer maybe its the same thing as you.

Why are Brock's eyes closed? Well, seeing as he's a rock/ground trainer, sandstorms hurt, and go goggles hadn't been invented until 2003, so they just froze like that.

Because when he was a lil child he watched the playboy channel too much, so his eyes became so tired that he had a surgery to semi-close them permanently, on second tought it may be because he is a mix of African and eastern Asiatic, but Mr. Mudkip has a point, tough that there is a time hole in the anime and in the games

Don't worry about it, they just are.
It is an old device used to imply that the person is wise or they're hiding
something. There are a bunch of characters like this. Anime characters can
see with their eyes closed. Gin Ichimaru, Syusuke Fuji, Itsuki Koizumi, etc
