Why can't Ninetales learn "Theif"

come on he's a speedy pokemon:p

That's weird. Foxes are considered crafty, tricky animals in the real world. It should be able to learn some sort of stealing move...

because ninetails is not a dark type and its partuially ghost and psychic(IMO)
in the show it was considered that ninetales had mythical powers
thats why now in pokemon games its one of the fire types that learns ghost moves without a TM

Ninetails doesnt look ANYTHING like crafty foxes... its a good, kind foxy and we will keep it away from stealing... tahts why it doesnt have thief

also, Thief itself is not a very good move anyways

Be happy that Ninetails actually gets a fire attack. Gyarados doesn't even get an offensive flying attack (its own type), natha.
