I am so sick of people calling the legendry creatures derogatory little names like "ubers". You people have lost your way when you start doing things likem "training evo's" and only using pokemon of a certain nature Though I probably should be suprised as this is from the people who use insulting and babyish terms like "p00ned"

Ok got that out of my system. If you want to battle so one with out legendrys then just ask them it seems fair to me

I don't use ubers, but people should have the choice on whether to use them or not. In dp i hope you can choose whether to give people battles with legendaries and battles without just to make it fair on people, and i think ubers should be banned from competitive play. Fighting without ubers is honourable and mature thing to do. A trainer who uses ubers on the other hand should not be considered skilled for in actual fact it is the easy way to victory and actually involves no skill, it is like using rare candies on pokemon to get them to lvl100, there is no skill involved. When i was a small boy back in the GSC days i used to use both ho-oh and lugia in my team as i have grown older i understand it is fair on everyone to use normal pokemon and actually form a decent strategy rather than just use the most powerful attack with the most powerful pkmn. I think using the legendary trios is ok though since they have the same total stats as dragonite and tyranitar and the ones like that.

I love ubers, but I usually use them in game... when fighting somebody else, I only use them if the opponenet is using them, too. I love ubers(lol funny word) but I respect my opponent's strategy, you know?

It's not that I hate ubers them selves, it's the fact that you get the people who use ubers, when you battle them and don't tell you. You have a team of Mewtwo, Dexoys, Rayqaza, Kyorge, Groundon, and Ho-oh against a team of maybe Starmie, Blaziken, Salamance, Blissey, Gengar, and Skarmory. Most of the time the team of ubers will win, no matter how good of a strat. the other player uses. Mewtwo or Attack Dexoys would sweep the entire other team. Attack Dexoys can take care of SkarmBliss because of the equal Attack and Special Attack stats, as long as it as a Physical and Special attack. As has been said already ubers unbalance the metagame. I don't have a Wobbafet in there at all since they are pretty much outlawed in competitive play, I could of put it on both, since some people say he is uber, which I agree with, well others say he isn't uber, so he could be on both teams, and then you get the possiblity of Wobba v. Wobba, if both have leftovers, you get a never ending battle.

I don't really care about ubers or not. I voted I don't know. I never use ubers I find it a cheap way to win they come with pre move sets there stats are awsome and they can kill a pokemon in one or two hits. Yet they really can't my friend is scared that he is gonna lose to them ( He doesn't like to lose even though we he does he admits it to "luckey" ) So basicly ubers are fine for people to be using by me I don't hate them and I don't like them simple when I school those people using ubers I'll just be more honored as a pokemon trainer.

What is the fun in having a Pokemon you bred for a good Nature, good IV's and EV trained, and then have it destroyed by FR Dexoys?

I enjoy fighting agains Ubers actually. It shows accomplishment if using a small team of regs, you can wipe out a team of Ubers.

Exactly, a lot of people said it takes the fun out of battling. I'd say it adds more chalange to it if your opponent is using Ubers. Maybe it could make your opponent a little too hard or even imposible to beat with normal pokemon but thats what made me switch to Ubers in the first place. I don't mean I use Ubers and Ubers only, I also use the regies, birds, and some other legendaries. I know they are legendaries but it does not mean they belong with pokemon like Rayquaza, Kyoge, Mewtwo and more. It is just my opinion and it also depends on the trainer using the pokemon.

I'm kinda in the mitle. I like tem cause they strong. But they make winning to easy which isn't fun. I also like tem cause they rare.
