Why do people hate Ubers?

I dislike using ubers because out off nearly 500 pkmn you use only 40 max,
I prefer to use pkmn that i've rarely use, and if they can beat an uber than I know that I have raised them well,
Also you catch ubers, except, Jirachi, mew, deoxys and Lugia at lv70 so there is not much point in raising them.

Sometimes they are hated if over used. Lugia was overused and kids really did not know what they were doing.

i just think they have no place in tournament play

I don't use ubers; or at least, I won't when I start battling people online on D/P.

I'm sick of people who complain about others who use good natures, IV's and EV's... It's called playing the game properly.

I think he's complaining about people who spend hours resetting games to get the "perfect" starters & ceratin pokes and breed pokes 10 times over to get "perfect" natures or whatever. To me, that's ridiculous, but most EV/IV stuff is fine, but I haven't ever done much with it before, but now in D/P playing online I'll have a EV team or two.

To adress the topic, I use weaker pokes to total ubers. I love Feraligatr(I've seen many people calling him weak, but it doesn't mean anything to me) more than ANY poke EVER, but I love Mewtwo as well.

Chance is your starter would be a higher level than your Legendary. On my Ruby vertion I had to recall my Sceptile so I could weaken Groudon with my other Pokemon.
