Change the background music? I remember seeing the reason in an interview why but I don't remember. Can anyone show me the interview?

Btw, the only music change I can tolerate is the OP and EP.

Not to mention they think kids can't appreciate an orchestral score. If they believe that then they're bigger than idiots than I thought. I mean, anyone who was under 13 at the time, did you like Sailor Moon's music for S and SuperS?

It's some junk about licensing fees for music--it's just like why Married.. with Children DVDs don't even have the original theme music in some of the later box sets. They're saving money, and having fun putting in irritating synthesized garbage!

So, when they buy the liscence, they have the music as well and they save money by not taking the music. I'm just wondering but wouldn't it cost more to have new music than simply using the original music.

You're actually trying to associate reasonablel business practices with 4Kids?

Al Kahn hates the Japanese and for whatever reason he wants to tarnish one of their mediums of entertainment, which happens to be anime. That's the only logical explanation that I can think of.

As to what I think of their BGM scores... bland and unemotional.

What picks me to the bone is that 4kids would rather waste money on sensless editing(the onigrii/sandwich edit is still fresh in my head) than paying the fees that would give us the original Japanese scores. I agree with HellKorn that Al Kahn just has something against the Japanese. To say the very least, Pokemon isn't in the hands of 4kids anymore.
