Why does it take so long?

Whenever I play MetroidPrime Hunters, it takes a long time to search for opponents. I dont get why. Arent there supposed to be loads of people online at the same time??

It takes that long for everyone. The Wi-Fi is pretty lame in terms of searching for opponents. It could also be that your connection is slow. And think about it, you are trying to connect to a person halfway around the globe.

Well yeah there are alot of people playing WiFi at one time, but the WiFi server pretty much sucks, and possibly you have a bad internet connection?

No, Ive got a fast connection. Well Im fine now that I know that's a common problem. Anyway, while in battle in "Find a game" the screen goes black and a message appears " You have been disconnected from the host. Press A to go back. " What does it mean?? Who are the hosts??

You know how when you get matched up with people it lists them on the top screen? The person at the top of the list is the host. If the host disconnects in the middle of the game everyone else gets disconnected and that message is displayed.

On the topic of speed, you don't know slow unless you played the game when it was first released. You were lucky to play a match with more than two people, and the error codes, they were everywhere. Right now I think it works quite quickly.

i never have any trouble finding someone in mariokart but i always always ALWAYS give up and just start a battle with bots in metroid because i can NEVER find someone (well not in under 15 minutes anyways) =/

Are you using regional or worldwide?

Regional from what i heard means your general area. This could mean county or state, or even town! But it does not mean country.

Oh gawd...that was horrible. Everything was 1-1 for so long...and the servers were sooooooo bad. <<; It works a HELL of a lot better than when it started.
