Will it be possible for these games to go Wi-Fi beacause there is never going to seriously be 16 people in your area around playing this at the same time.Also i saw this info on xerocreative(yugioh forum site)

The next sequals to the hand held pokemon games will be on the Nintendo DS. I already hear you getting up to go buy one, bwhaha. Anyway, Being on the DS probably means one thing, ONLINE PLAY. If there isnt online play for the DS pokemon games, Nintendo should cease their existance. ZOMG. I hear the PSP considering suicide. Coming some time in 2006. If i would guess, i`d say around August.

well i got wi-fi but it aint hooked up yet and im trying to put it together and i dont think no-one has it round my area. Newayz pkmn diamond & pearl might come out on wi-fi in a few years i dunno why but i have a feeling!

Most of that is speculation, but it is coming out in 2006 for the DS. Nobody is sure yet as to whether the games will feature online play, but the DS certainly is capable of the awesome feat.

Mind you, most of your information is antiquated; the latest news we have received was nearly half a year ago, and that was either the unveiling of the new Pokemon or that interview in CoroCoro; which one it was escapes me at the moment.

Ideally it should. However, nobody knows for sure when it's coming out, so it's rather futile to assume it'll come out at any specific date. We aren't even sure it'll be out by August in Japan, just some time in 2006.

OK if Wi Fi goes up, I wonder if netbattle will shut down. Because on Wi fi, I have a feeling they'll force you to use your in-game team. Plz netbattle don't shut down.

Well this isn't a netbattle thread, its a wi fi thread. But its good, I'd download it and see for myself.

Netbattle seems more or something to test a team, rather than using your actual team to own people, which Wi-Fi will do if it exists in D/P.
