Yeah, I knwo this may belong in Wi-FI, but it's programming so yeah. I have Mario Kart DS and the Nintendo DS and I was wondering how to set it up. I don't have a wireless router, rather just a plain router in general, which I don't think is going to work. So what do I do? I'd like to vs people but I don't know how to get set up and since I don't I can't get a friend code. Any help?

Well all you need to get started is to buy this:

Then just follow it's directions when you get it. But don't stray too far away from where it's connected or else you'll lose the connection.

The Nintendo DS Wireless adapter is the same price or almost the same price to a new Wireless G Router.

I suggest check the price on compatible routers for Nintendo Wi-fi connection before going and buy the USB adapter. You cannot use other wireless devices with a Nintendo DS Wireless USB adapter, so be aware that you can get a wireless router instead of a usb adapter. A router also offer more distance than if you to use a usb adapter since it's more powerful.
