Wierd things that remind you of Pokemon

There's a few I can think of now:

When the words "Electrode" or "Ditto" are mentioned, I think of the respective Pokemon.

When someone says the word "Flamethrower" I think of that respective move.

"Pidgeon" becomes "Pidgey," and "Swallow" becomes "Swellow" and other times I get confused between the real animal name and the name of a Pokemon.

So, what wierd things remind you of Pokemon?

My Mum also has this huge red necklace that reminds me of Misdreavus... and certain friends remind me of their favourite Pokemon. Alas, said friends aren't on Serebii, so I won't mention names.

Well I know I was playing LOZ : Oracle of Seasons when I saw "Pidgeon" and I guess I miss read it because at first I thought it said "Pidgeot"! O_O

Also when I first watched "I Robot" for some reason it reminded me of Mewtwo.

Few things I hear reminds me about Pokémon things, because few portuguese words have the same pronunciation as English.

Forcystus (sp?) from ToS reminds me of Hinata, which makes absolutely no sence whatsoever since Forcystus is a tyrannical cyborg half-elf and Hinata is... well.... completely diffrent. It probably has something to do with the turqoise mullet and scarlet jacket 0__o
And every time I see an animal, its Pokemon counterpart immedeatly comes to mind, except if it's a dolphin, in which case "why the hell isn't there a dolphin Pokemon yet?" comes to mind.

Whenever I hear/see the word "magma", I sometimes think of "magmar".

Same here only I think of Team Magma and if I find someone that has the same name of a character from pokemon like there is this one kid named Tucker so I always think of the frontier brain also I think of Tabitha when I see Constantine and Steven if I see Taylor Hicks and Konversationist, I thought Gorbyss was a dolphin counterpart.

With animals I think of their respective pokemon. Whenever I see toothpaste, it reminds me of Deoxys. If I ever do get a Deoxys, I'm naming it "Crest".

When I see those Red and Green-colored toothpaste boxes, I think of Deoxys.

Strangely enough, whenever I watch Naruto, and he or Konohamaru performs the Oiroke no jutsu, I think of Altaria.

In the Biology Laboratory at my school, there is a stuffed turtle. Its skin is red, and it has a black leather shell. It reminds me of Torkoal.

Those inflatable things that advertise stuff remind me of Wobbuffet.

More when I remember them.

This may sound wierd, but certain pop-music reminds me of pokemon.

Hilary Duff's why not song make me think of wynaut.

Kelly Clarkson's music reminds me of pokemon too.

Breakaway makes me think of a metapod evolving into a butterfree Ash's especially. Here's certain parts that remind me of it



Make a wish
I think of this part of when he's still a caterpie, in the night scene with pikachu, wishing he's a butterfree

take a chance
take a chance in battle against ekans and koffing

Make a change
Change into metapod

Take a risk
At the end of that samurai episode, metapod risks its life to protect Ash from those beedrills.

Out of the darkness and into the sun
Won't it be dark in that case? Probably not, it's got eyeholes, but whatever

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
Butterfree flies

It won't be easy to tell you goodbye
And... Bye bye butterfree!

Also, Behind these hazel eyes makes me think of a shedinja singing to a ninjask remembering when the two pokemon were one nincada. One part of the song she says, "you were a part of me" like a shedinja and a ninjask were one pokemon as a nincada and she also says, "I can't breathe". Shedinja's pokedex entry says that it doesn't breathe. Also, when she says "behind these hazel eyes" I think, behind these sableyes XD!!
