OK, After a few tests of the team I posted several days ago, I noticed something. It sucked. I made a new team, but It has a hard time against Weather, specifically Sun. Also it might still suck, but at least it works sometimes.
Also since it's so different I didn't bother editing the old thread.
Cloyster @ White Herb
Ablity: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 48 SAtk / 208 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Shell Smash
- Hydro Pump
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
Cloyster. OK I can skip the introduction of the introductery Pokemon.
Shell Smash is a must. Otherwise Starmie wins the lead position. It raises all 3 Important Stats. Attack, Special Attack, and Speed. Hydro Pump because Hydro Pump. Screw that other move... err, what was it again? Icicle Spear, AKA The Cloyster move. Rock Blast, because utility + sweep = fail.
EVs / Nature
Naive because my Defense is precious. Allows Cloyster to take hits. Lots of Mach Punching hits. EVs to outrun ScarfChomp and hit hard.
Gengar (F) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Disable
- Substitute
Hello again, old friend. Gengar is one of the awesome new IV bred guys from Platinum. He's my second lead, since he has that Icy Wind + Shadow Ball thing. Also he mashes stuff hard. OK In-Game it's a she but the sprite tells otherwise.
Shadow Ball = STAB. That's a math lesson for you. Focus Blast Gives me perfect coverage over everything except it makes me vunerable to the 6th Gen Normal / Ghost. Disable because I said so. Also, SUBDISABLE. Substitute helps me stall for damage, kinda like how I need Stealth Rocks sometimes. Life Orb, Toxic Orb, Burn Orb, blah.
EVs / Nature
Figure it out yourself, I've said it a trillion times.
Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Dual Chop
ScarfChomp > Gliscor. He checks Salamence, Dragonite, Sun Sweepers, etc. Also he whacks stuff. Hard.
Outrage is cool. It wrecks stuff including Haxorus. Earthquake because it's STAB Numbero Dos. I think that's number two. Stone Edge because Volcarona shits on me. Fire Blast for Steels.
EVs / Nature
Obvious EVs. No explaination needed.
Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock
Jirachi. Empoleon + Gallade = Jirachi. Yep. Jirachi = Ferrothorn. Kinda.
Power Whip because Gyro Ball gets a power drop VS a slow opponent. And that happens thanks to Thunder Wave. Leech Seed = Wish supportish. Works with Gengar to an extent. Stealth Rock because my team needs Stealth Rock support and stuff.
EVs / Nature
High Special Bulk because he needs it. Also to take random attacks, since I really need to survive that -2 Flamethrower / HP Fire
Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower
- Ice Punch
- Waterfall
Keeping up the "slow and powerful" theme of my team's core. OK Nevermid forget I said that. Also it checks 'Xcadrill. And Cloyster.
Aqua Jet to check 'Xcadrill. And Terrorkion. And to speed him up a little. Superpower to check Cloyster... I think. Ice Punch because he also checks ScarfChomp. Waterfall for consistency.
Rotom-H @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SAtk / 216 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Trick
- Overheat
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
That's right, it. No really, Rotom is Genderless. It checks Gyarados and counters Ferrothorn. And Checks Thundurus. I had a battle earlier and I tricked my Scarf onto a Conkeldurr. Next thing I knew, it Paybacked my 11 HP Empoleon who was hoping to outrun it. ~!@$%^&*(
Also this guy is fun to use. Had a Trick war against a Transform Mew. SHUDDA SWITCHED TO GLISCOR ARGH.
Trick locks my target onto a move of their choice. Yep. Overheat burns stuff up. Thunderbolt = STAB Numbero Uno. Volt Switch lets this guy lead on occasion. It also lets me counter their switch in.
EVs / Nature
EV'd to outrun Gyarados. And have bulk.
Closing
I've had trouble against Weather Teams, specifically Sun,thus I might replace Gliscor with a ScarfChomp. With Stone Edge. Like this.
Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
No, no descriptions or pics for this until I officially add it to the team. OK Maybe. A little.
Garchomp checks some stuff, but then I'd lose Gliscor as something to switch-in to make status fail. It also helps me against Dragons, like Garchomp and Dragonite.
OK I swapped.
Changes in White as usual.
Since I refuse to double post, I've been thinking, Starmie over Cloyster, since ever since I changed Cloyster's Rapid Spin to Rock Blast, it didn't quite work as a spinner. Heh. So, How about
Starmie @ Focus Sash
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt / Grass Knot
- Rapid Spin
And yes, I did just make that up on the spot without opening PO or something. I love doing that. The only difference is that I omitted the Gender and changed Trait to Ability. Man I need to get a life D:
Also since it's so different I didn't bother editing the old thread.
"Team Preview"
- Started off with Gliscor. Because I wanted some kinda guy that I could form the core of my team around and "sweep".
- Added on Gallade, since he has some pretty OK SDef to help Gliscor and stuff. Also he has Wish.
- Added on Empoleon, due to resisting both of Gliscor's weaknesses.
- Added on Rotom-H, for resistances to Ice, Electric, and Flying. And stuff like that.
- Added on Gengar since every team needs a Ghost type.
- Added Cloyster as a "lead". No really, he's not my anti-lead lead like Krookodile. That sucked. He throws guys off track.
- Tested Team. Have a 5W / 2L Record. Also barely won against some Chinese guy.
- Posted Team.
- Made some edits, Gliscor > Garchomp
- Mor edits thanks to TBird, Empoleon and Gallade > Jirachi and because I removed 2 and added 1, I have a free slot. Azumarill checks stuff similar to Empoleon, so yep.
- Changed Gay-gar's set to Sub-Disable
- Ferrothorn over Jirachi

Changes in White as usual.
Alakazam - Ferrothorn walls it to hell. Azumarril can revenge / switch into Shadow Ball and KO with Aquatic Jetting moves.
Azumarill - Cloyster. setsup.
Blaziken - Gengar outspeeds. As does Garchomp. As does Rotom. All can KO but Rotom. Azumarill KOs even Speed Boosters.
Blissey - Gengar is untouchable after it throws a sub, as long as Blissey lacks Ice Beam / Flamethrower / Thunderbolt.
Breloom - Gengar. Rotom. Garchomp.
Chandelure - Garchomp, Azumarril. I'm not stating reasons unless I really need to now.
Cloyster - Azumarill.
Conkeldurr - Ehr, it gets a double KO before I kill it. Overheat might KO but I'm not sure.
Ditto - What's it gonna do? Nothing!

Espeon - I don't inflict status outside of Thunder Wave. And don't set up hazards either.
Excadrill - Azumarill.
Ferrothorn - Rotom. Azumarill 2HKOs but POWERWHIPARGH.
Forretress - See above minuspowerwhipargh.
Garchomp - Screw this thing, I have Icicle Spear and stuffs. See Dragonite.

Politoed - Ahzoomareel walls it, and Waterfall hits RIDICULOUSLY hard in the rain.
Porygon2 - Rotom resist Bolt Beam. Ferro wall.
Reuniclus - Rotom can Trick it. If it sets up, hopefully it's taken enough damage for Garchomp to revenge. Or Azumarill.
Salamence - Garchomp revenge kills. Ferro handles Mixmence without Fire Blast, but that's 0 of them
Scizor - Rotom takes hits all day. Azumarill can also take a hit and KO... I think. Cloyster might be able to setup, I think.
Scrafty - Parahax. Shed Skin shits, but flinchhax. It can't take repeated hits too well either.
Serperior - Rotom... Argh.
Skarmory - Rotom, Cloyster, Ferrothorn, Azumarill. All take a hit and 2HKO at least. Except Ferro. You know.
Starmie - Rotom revenges. Man I rely too much on Rotom. Ferro walls.
Swampert - Gengar.
Tentacruel - Dude, 3/6 of my team is immune to Toxic Spikes. Garchomp kills all. Ferro walls, but can't really do damage.
Thundurus - Rotom, Chompy, Ferro?.
Togekiss - Gengar... Frothorn... Rotom... zzz
Tyranitar - Azumarill. Duh. What's it gonna do, like seriously.

Azumarill - Cloyster. setsup.
Blaziken - Gengar outspeeds. As does Garchomp. As does Rotom. All can KO but Rotom. Azumarill KOs even Speed Boosters.
