WiFi is for Trading,Battling,Chatting with people online using a Nintendo DS Game.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will have this feature.

Emerald will be compatible with Diamond and Pearl.

I have an NDS and u can't plug cables into it.... so unless u have wireless inrernet capabilities....it wont work...

And with diamond + pearl, I hope that u will be able to connect and then put up a trade or battle request that ppl can answer
