Wii or playstation 3?

I thought up of an interesting point.

Why the hell do you care what people think? Sure their reasoning may be flawed, but the point is, if they enjoy it or think they will enjoying it, that's their descision. Your idea of fun may be different from mine. So honestly, I don't see why you sould get all antsy when more people here say they want the Wii.

Ideally this is what I think too.

Don't forget Sega Genesis games is the nail-in-coffin for the PS3.

Why get Sonic PS3 when you can play Sonic and Knuckles to your hearts content?

And old game that I can play over and over since I was 11, wonderful. I got Mega Collection last year, been there, done that. Bring on the new!

Exactly the point I'm making. Before a Pokemon game was even announced for the Wii, I already knew I was going to buy it. Had nothing to do with the fact that I'm on a Pokemon forum or that a Pokemon game would be on it. Nor does it have anything to do with fanboyism.

Not everyone has Mega Collection, and there are TONS of games on older systems that are near impossible to find.

Besides, what ever happened to nostalgia? I can't wait to play Mario RPG, Earthbound, and Star Fox again.

Wii. It's games look innovative and fun. The Wii channels are interesting, personally I like the weather channel and the photo channel. I also can't wait to play some Virtual Console games, I really want to check out Sonic the Hedgehog and hopefully play some Pokemon Puzzle League. It's cheap, so that's another bonus.

As for the Playstation 3, I will get that later.

There's nothing wrong with nostalgia, Nintendo banks off your memories.

However what you said is stupid...skip on the new entry in the franchise to replay and old one over and over again.

By your logic, why get TP, we can just download Ocarina of Time and play it again and again.

I would definitly go with the Wii because of the price range. The piece of crap Sony is coming out with is just too expensive and Nintendo is always the better buy because they're cheaper and their games rock(Pokemon!!!)

I like both, and will get PS3 at launch, and will get Wii at a later date without a doubt for SSB:B.

Dont forget about Super Metroid. I heard it was a great game for the Snes and now I will finally be able to play it. There's quite a few other games i might rebuy. Not too sure which ones. Pokemon Snap is up there(i really enjoyed that game), and maybe Rayman 2: the great escape aswell. Sonic games too, as well as a couple of decent SNES games and a couple of NES games. Ill finally be able to catch up on what i missed.
