Because it's totally hip to attempt making a crack at Sony and Microsoft by replacing the S'es in their names with $'s. Quite original and rebelious there!
Seriously though, nothing is wrong with supporting Sony or Microsoft. In fact, there's no reason to even badmouth MS as they agree that they like the Wii and the direction it's heading. The only thing to frown on is the decisions Sony is making. They're not bad people. They're simply terribly misguided at the moment. Nintendo was the same way when it came to making decisions for the N64 and GameCube.

OMG Exactly. I used to care all the time what others think, but now I don't. I'm getting the Wii because I like what it has to offer - I don't care about what other people think.
I thought it was funny. I brought my DS to school to play in Biology in 10th grade, and this one kid was like. Haha, DS sucks. I thought it was funny when someone told the kid to shutup and how other people kept coming up to me wanting to playing it and said it was awesome and that they would probably get one...so you know.
DS > PSP anyday ;x ~ look at Customer Revies and Sales of DS compared to PSP.
Besides, I'm not the one being an ignorant fool wasting money on a media center when I already have a DVD Player that was $65 to watch DVD's on...so you know, screw Sony and their overpriced garbage. I'm getting the Wii solely because it's gaming ~ besides, I don't own any DVD's except Pokemon Lucario & the Mystery of Mew...so what's the point of HD (I also don't own an HD TV either...im poor as it is)

If i tell people i like ds they all laugh at me too just cause they think sony and microsoft rule. All they do is make games that have too much violence in them while nintendo makes much better games and are also creative like monkeyballs and mario etc. Not just guns and cars and zombies like micro and sony.
I'm getting the nintendo wii on launch and Legend of zelda Twighlight princess and maybe trauma center second opinion or raving rabbids i'm getting both either way just the other later on.
Right now there is only one game on the ps3 I like and that's Lair though i'll wait for a bit more worth while games to get a ps3.

Uh, wow. Where to start?
1) Sony and Microsoft don't make those games. Rockstar and most other imitations do.
2) Nintendo did not make Super Monkey Ball. Sega did. And it's not exclusive to Nintendo when the PS2, PSP and Xbox have the franchise as well.
3) Guns? Metroid and Star Fox. Cars? Mario Kart. Zombies? Legend of Zelda OoT and Resident Evil was on Nintendo 64, Gameboy Color and GameCube as well.

Wii because of the price.
The only reason I will get a PS3 is for Square Enix games, so I will wait until it is dirt cheap for me to buy one...
I think I should write a letter of complaint to Sony about how graphics don't make good games and how $400 more for better graphics ain't worth it.

I'll probably end up getting both of them. We already have an XB360, and I have a GC and PS2. But I'm definately going to wait until the big price-drops. Square Enix is with PS, and the 3D Pokemon games are on Nintendo's systems, so I'm stuck getting both if I want my games...
HAHAHAHAHH, if sony doesnt lower its prices by a considerable amount than it is surely goin to fail. Ofcourse though that i like the ps2, cuz i live in Saudi Arabia and i can get any ps2 game for like $3 cuz they are all fake hahaha. Thats why i have so many PS2 games. But overall in this generation im goin to have to say 360 cuz of many games that i like ( Cant wait till halo 3). But if i had to pick either the wii or the ps3, i would sadly say PS3, but only if i could afford it and its mega-priced games, cuz i think it has better games (MGS4 anyone?), but then again i could buy 2 wii's for the price of one ps3, so i could get alot more games( and afford to live in an atleast an ok neighborhood lol haha) with wii so i am undecided.
U have to admit though that revolution was a much better name, and i honestly think that i would like the wii better if it still had that name. Although wii has got to be one of the most original and unique names i'll give it that.
