Wii question?

Is a wii from america able to play wii games for australia. Was just wondering?
Because i am moving back to Australia in february

Yeah it is a 20 hour trip i lived in australia and was born there. Lived there for 9 years. Came to america after 3 years my dad died. Truck ran over his car on the interstate. My mom said we are going to move and if i get the wii and the games coming out only here i will be satisfied. The wii rocks. Sadly i wish my dad was here.

You will NOT be able to play Australian Wii game on your American Wii. Though I am not sure about your Wii remote question. Your safest bet would be to say "no" to be honest.

I am do sad now i have to get my wii in australia and it will come out in december there that means i can't get it until february. That is so unfair!!!!!!!!!!
It said on wikipedia that is was region free.

I checked on wikipeida, and it does not say that it is region free, it says that nintendo were considering it. I am also not very pleased about thgis, because I wanted to order some of the games from Japan and the US that will probably never get released here in the UK Y_Y
