Will anyone breed Pokémon for there playthru?

On my first runs, I've never bred Pokèmon, also because some of the items needed for the breeding may be in the late parts of the game.
So I'll start and finish my adventure with Pokèmon that I find interesting.
Only after that I will start breeding.

Well, ever since gen 4 I always get 9 mons in my team. With the exception of SuMo I always got the Water Starter for Surf / Waterfall usage since I was never a fan of the other Water mons. A flyer to get me through the region and an Electric typs. My reserves are usually some good early route Pokémon who will get shafted for stronger team mates. The only Pokémon I've ever traded into my games were Larvitar in gen 2 and Bagon / Beldum in Gen 3 because I was too young and didn't have the patience.

Minun and Turtwig are my signature Pokémon so I normally do a play through with them in my team. So depending on compatibility I’ll try and breed them to use through my first run through if not I’ll wait for the sequel games

Eh, ragazzo!
In Pokemon Ultra Moon I breed a Vulpix from Pokemon Silver for a few reasons.
1. Ultra Moon doesn't have Alolan Vulpix.
2. I can get a hidden ability (Snow Warning).
3. Nature can be what I want.
4. I can give it the egg move, Moonblast.

So if there are compelling reasons to breed (which there will likely be), then I will breed a few of my Pokemon.
