Will Ash catch another Pokémon in the BF saga?

It's just a random thought. He might catch another one later but If the end of the saga is a Gym like battle with Brandon he might not. He might have a six on six match but have some old Pokémon in the mix. So do you think Ash will catch another pokémon?

Ah fine, let May's Eevee evolve into Espeon and then a few episodes later have Ash capture an Espeon so we can criticize Ash for catching the same Pokemon May has. And then of course afterwards May will have to capture a Pichu to compensate for this.

I would have liked it to be an Eevee, but after May's Egg, I think should get a good Normal, Ghost, Dark, Psychic or Steel. I'd apreciate it if it was the latter. Perhaps Metang or perhaps a new D/P steel type (not Rukario but I always wish Ash got a D/P before D/P was even close to coming out, like May, Brock, and James).

I would really like to see Ash with something new. I really like that his Pokemon are going on a evolution flurry, but I would like to see him catch something new and cool. A new D/P pokemon would fit in perfectly. Fire/Ghost type anyone? Hey, I think it'ld be cool. As for May's Eevee, I hope it evolves into a new D/P evolution of Eevee. We need a grass and steel Eevee evolution. At least I think so.

Nope, Ash is way too uberific right now. Seriously, Pikachu(no comments), Sceptile(he will get better after the Revival epi), Swellow, Donphan and Corphish(kinda). To not forget he can call upon any Poke at Oak´s.

But, i agree at Ash´s catching a Skitty idea

I doubt it, since the writers seem to be turning the Battle Frontier into an evolution fest. Chances are they're just making every look cool before its all dumped in favour of the next region.

I'm not sure the writers will bother filling Ash's sixth slot with an old Kanto Pokemon that'll only be ditched at the end of the season. Marketing-wise, it's pointless. I can see the logic in May's Eevee and Squirtle, since the Kanto generation is new to her, and there's a chance the D/P gen is going to have new Eeveelutions, but Ash has already had one go around to catch R/B/Y Pokemon. So I reckon the only way he'll get a sixth is if the gang runs into another new D/P Pokemon while in Kanto.
