It's not impossible.
Dootakun would be great, Fukamaru would rule, one of the fossils FTW, .........Dootakun would cover Psychic as well, Fuwante ain't that big of a stretch, nor would Skuntank.

Ash has no chance to get a fire type this time, and alot of people have finally come to realise it
I hope Ash catches at least two out of the six types mentioned. I mean he has Charizard and Torkoal as fire powerhouses and even though Ash needs a water pokemon thats evolved, Buizeru is starting to become a boring choice (cuz it looks like an obvious pokemon Ash would have). So yeah, hopefully he gets a steel type and a dark type (Lucario and Sukatanku).
And if the writers must have fire and water, I suppose Ash could teach Lucario and Sukatanku a water and fire move respectively (that is if he catches them and if the writers want him to have a fire and water element).
So yeah, I hope Ash catches something new. I mean so far the writers already screwed up on originality by having Ash catch the generic brid and the grass starter...either they keep the pattern or hopefully redeem themseleves by letting Ash catch two pokemon with two or more different types.

Ash didn't give away Larvitar, he released it so it could go back to it's mother (Tyranitar). Haunter would be given away though, since Haunter entertained Sabrina (made her laugh).
Just had to clear that up.
