After Ruby and Sapphire, I would like to see some more length in the new games.

I hope that we don't visit the older regions using memory from the same card as the main D/P card. However, I wouldn't mind having GBA-cart extension packs to allow the expansion of the game into the other three regions.

In order to do that, they need to make GBA games that take place in Jhoto.
But, I still like the idea.

I want them to add some kind of extension in the game, since they are for the DS, they could allow you to go to a Pokemon Center after the Elite 4 and insert Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FR/LG into the GBA slot so you can travel to that region.

It could just be an expansion pack that can only work with the assistance with a 4th gen game. If put into a GBA or run as a standalone GBA program on the DS, it could simply give an incompatibility message and a method of recourse (i.e. use it with D/P).

you amaze me.
Hopefully they will use the memory of the DS to make the region huge and not waste our time in Hoenn again...and I'm almost positive that there will only be 8 badges..the writers don't like to stray too far from tradition..(heaven forbid they do something completly different) lol..

Haven't they stressed the fact that this will be a bit of a new direction for Pokemon? Unless what I've heard were rumors.

I reckon that you shoulkd only need 8 but there are more badges to get for more prizes. (Eg: Items, Pokemon etc).

Well, if there's only gonna be 8, then I'd like to see more difficulty in the game. Ruby and Sapphire were much too easy.

i have to agree .. R/S/E were Way to easy..! i at least want 24 badges.. i liked Jotho.. i liked Kanto.. that would bring the poke count.. to at least 500 .. or more/ less know what i am trying to say?

I would hate to go back to Hoenn. That was a terrible region. In fact, I'd hate it if you would have to go back to previouse region. It'd just give the programmers an excuse not to make a full game. The only other region I'd be interested in would be if if Diamond had one region and Pearl had another and when you mixed records with the other, data would be downloaded allowing you to travel to that region.

I hope there is only eight badges. Kanto was really tough for me, Johto was a breeze, and Hoenn was also pretty tough. Johto was just pathetic though, I beat the Elite Four and Kanto Gym Leaders with a Lv.52 Pikachu I traded over from Yellow. It's now Lv.86.

what?! no freaking way.. i want to go back to Jotho and Kanto and Hounnen .. i thouhght hounenn was pretty cool. but if they did do the 24 badge thing.. i would hate if the did like : kanto jotho and hounenn like that in a row.. if they did do the 24 badge thing i wish that they could mix it like this : brock,busy,misty.... Etc.. ( i think you know what i mean)
