~Wind of Change~
Science has grown out of hand, becoming dangerous. People’s experiments have grown less and less humane in their ruthless, never-ending search for knowledge. They have claimed the lives of humans and Pokemon alike without remorse…
But they were not satisfied. They hired hunters to find new subjects… legendary Pokemon, the guardians of nature…
The hunters searched high and low for legends. Eventually, their persistence was rewarded with a find, Suicune. They tied her up and took her to the scientists completely bedraggled. They took her DNA… and tainted it. A new creature was born though the cloning of this DNA…
Rathune, the polar opposite of Suicune, was created. She was of a Suicune-like build, but her fur was sickly purple. Her muzzle was wider, huge fangs jutting out of the top jaw. Her mane was frazzled looking and the color of blood. Rathune had thick, sharp tails numbering at three. She had long bloodstained claws and no headdress, but instead a pair of huge horns.
The scientists thought they could control Rathune... but they were wrong. So very wrong that many paid their lives for their misunderstanding.
She revolted with many other Pokemon born from tainted DNA, which had been a great experiment, take the DNA of so many and taint it to see what will happen. After her escape; Rathune took her place opposite Suicune with the south wind under her power. And so she spreads the wind of change over the world, mutating those who were not cured quickly, be it humans or Pokemon.
Now the ones who have been mutated have been taken by the scientists for training so that they can fight against and, much to the scientists’ pleasure, recapture Rathune for their studies… Only mutated fighters are their weapons, but they offer training that will make them far stronger than pure or tainted… if their army agrees. Their methods may be difficult…
But Rathune, too, has and army, an army of the tainted. They will fight for her, for they have been promised great things to protect their great master. Tainted ones are ruthless fighters; she knows that they will fight… and win, for what they have been promised is something unattainable. Power over all after the pure are wiped out… and the mutated tainted…
Suicune, as well, is organizing an army from the pure, tainted, and mutated in an attempt to kill Rathune herself… she is benevolent and uncaring as to what she takes. She just wishes to set balance back in place and end this… for she has the pure winds. These winds may be the answer, but they may not…

1. The tainted are opposite of their normal, while the mutated are just changed in some way (may be big or small; see Kraken).
I do not want too many pure characters; if you will, take another kind. Still, I will allow some of these.
2. Humans cannot be tainted. <<
3. Rathune’s army is evil. Suicune’s is fighting Rathune. Scientists are trying to get Rathune back and may have some conflicts with Suicune. I expect a few people in each army. Also, keep in mind what kind of characters fall in each section.
4. I will control the head scientist, Rathune and Suicune. You may, however, PM me a special sign-up and I will give them to you. Their sign-ups will be posted when the RPG starts or when they are claimed, whichever comes first.
5. There is two of each legend, no more! If there are going to be two, one must be tainted and the other pure/mutated. No exceptions!
6. Humans, mutated or pure, may have Pokemon.
7. Mutated humans have powers like Pokemon do depending on their mutation.

Name: Leslie Carruth… but is now called Kraken.
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Type: Mutated
Army: Suicune
Description: The only thing that remains of Kraken’s human form is her shape. She is, in short, an anthro sea dragon. She has filmy scales colored far greener turquoise and long hair of bluer turquoise. There is a fin that runs from the base of her spine to her neck and then splits into two that go to her forehead on each side. Kraken can breathe through underwater this fin, plus it can come up or flatten against her body. She has humanoid hands, but she only has three fingers. Also, she has two thumbs. The same goes for her toes; she has three with two on her heel. She has a thick, dragon-like tail with a ridge of spines down it and a large fin on the end of it. There are small talons on Kraken’s elbows. Her face is muzzled down to some kind of small degree with slits for nostrils and small, sharp teeth under her lips. Her eyes are dark sapphire. She wears one of three specially designed things: a swimsuit, shorts and a tank top, or a long sleeve shirt and long pants.
Personality: Kraken is extremely self-secluded and takes the longest time to become friendly with others. She tends to snap and flatten her fin when others come to close, showing that she is angry or sad. She is very mature for being only fourteen and smart to boot. However, she does have a habit of talking about these things when she should not, making people angry or upset with her. Kraken is sweet deep down though, and she is easy to talk to if you can calm her down. Her emotions change rapidly; luckily her fin always shows how she is feeling.
History: Kraken grew up in Mossdeep City as Leslie Carruth. She was always a strong swimmer, always swimming to and from the mainland. Eventually, when she was old enough, she was allowed to go out on her journey. She found a Feebas in the river by Fortree, which she did not know what to call. Eventually she decided to call it Belle, for she knew it had unseen beauty beneath its ragged scales. She did not know how correct she was.
After realizing that she needed to get more Pokemon, Leslie and Belle swam off toward Jhoto. Blue pokeblocks had been in abundance, and Belle had eaten a lot of them, so on this trip, in a fight with a Tentacool, she evolved into a beautiful Milotic. With her evolution, Leslie was given some relief from swimming so far when on her back. It was a long swim, but they finally made it to Jhoto.
Once there, Leslie took Belle all around, searching for the right Pokemon. They found it in the grass around Olivine, an Arbok. After a fight that inflicted much damage to both parties, the Arbok, now called Venom, joined the group. But it was about this time that Rathune was born…
Leslie was wandering outside of a great forest when she stopped to sit out by a lake. Her Pokemon were happy to rest. Then trouble came from the south… tainted Pokemon attacked them, knocking Leslie out. She woke up later to find that her only friends, Belle and Venom, were gone to who knows where…
So Leslie stood up. No wind came; she was unchanged. Then she wandered along the lakeside, hoping to see her Pokemon in the water… but she did not. If that weren’t bad enough, the wind suddenly begun to blow over her, and then she could not stand it and passed out there, beside the lake.
When Leslie woke up the wind had stopped. She looked at the lake and crawled over toward it, wondering why she felt so different. Her reflection glared at her. She thought something was behind her, and so she leapt in, but as she got in, the fins on the creature’s head and back folded back in fear.
Underwater Leslie found herself breathing through small slits on the end of her… muzzle!?! She jerked her hand up and saw that it was so different… she was frightened… and she had a tail. She had morphed completely into… this thing. But in her thought she did not realize that she was unable to hold her breath, and subconsciously flipped up her fin, taking in oxygen. She could breath.
After discovering herself and choosing her name to be Kraken, Leslie swam upriver until she found a waterfall. She scaled it easily. At the top, to her surprise, was Suicune. Here they made a deal and Kraken joined the army while training with Suicune.
Now she is ready to fight the menace of her master… and to find her Pokemon again.
Pokemon: Lost somewhere are Kraken’s Milotic, Belle, and her Arbok, Venom. She is looking for them.
Other: The spines on Kraken’s elbows have a dilute sort of venom within that paralyzes for a few hours.
So… feel free to join! LSU’s will be accepted until we are too close to the end to continue accepting them.
ALSO: I have realized that I need the best I can get for the three commanders. If one is taken, but you want it, send me a sign-up anyway. If it is better, I will give you the position. Keep this in mind when applying.
