Windows Firewall

I recently unistalled NAV 2006 so my NAV firewall was gone,so I thought to turn on windows firewall,but when I try to do so

we're sorry security center could not turn on windows firewall

and when I go to firewall settings I get

due to an identified problem,windows could not turn off windows firewall

any help?

security center is there and already set to autmatic.However I find no Windows Firewall,I'm starting to worry that for some pecurial reason WFirewall has been removed from my computer
