Windows Movie Maker Update

I want to make a music video, with current videos I have. My current Windows Movie Maker dosen't have the mute fuction.

And I am having trouble finding the Windows Movie Maker update.... anyone know where to get it? I've heard you can get it at Yahoo, I looked and couldn't find it.

I don't think updates include new features, they just fix bugs.

Before doing this, click Help, then About Windows Movie Maker within the Movie Maker window. See if you have version 2.1.4026.0 because I think that's the latest version.

You need Windows XP SP2, just so you know.

But addressing your problem, what you're looking for isn't Mute. Click Tools, then Audio Levels. On the left is Audio from Video, which is the sound from the videos you have imported. On the right is Audio/Music, which is the sound from an audio clip you've imported to your project. Slide it all the way to the right, if you haven't figured it out, and then click Import Audio or Music from the left sidebar, and choose the sound file you want.

No offence Alchemist but mac sux, and please stop gloating bout your mac cause mac sux. Windows is better in every way the same goes for windows movie maker.

Back on topic, i dont think there is a big update for windows movie maker.

OK, I give in. Why do Mac's suck? I want to hear what all the rage is about Windows, besides the games.

Well, Windows is faster, Smarter, Better and Can get arms only to beat the crap out of Mac. Also I am having trubble with my Windows movie maker if I can just post this in this forum, Can I?

I don't like windows, I get the BOSD alot and tons of driver problems, which I have to waste my time reverting them back to a stable one.

Theres no way that Windows XP is smarter and better. Prehaps Tiger has more features than XP....

Atleast on a Mac, you will never have those problems.

I don't like Windows Movie Maker because it only can output to WMV which is vendor lock-in. =p Atleast in Adobe Premiere Elements (not free), you can output in many formats.
