Is he still banned in competive play and if he is banned should he be allowed to be played or if not banned should be banned?

Badabim badabum!
If someone asks from me, WB doesn't need to be banned...
...After they get rid of Mirror coat, Counter and Destiny Bond.

Though WB's defences aren't anything super,
they're still high frustating high enough combicined with WB's HP stat.

Obviously. Wobby is the third most broken Pokémon in the game.

The only reason why Wobbuffet is banned is because people think that moves like destiny bond are bad when they aren't and they don't like that strategy. (I hate tiers.)

Banned
lolwut, No, that's not why at all. Wobbufet is banned because every time he comes in he is guarnateed, either a kill, or he is going to setup a sweeper with little to no effort. Destiny Bond is rarely used on Wobbu at all.

Fourth if you include Arceus. But because he can't be properly EV trained, he is currently banned from Shoddy and I haven't included him. But in the current Uber tier, Wobbuffet is the third most broken Pokémon after Kyogre and Groudon.

^ IMO, Groudon isn't that broken. Its ability is amazing, but it doesn't really have the fire-type movepool to back it up. Kyogre is in a league of its own, though.

Don't forget always-hits Thunder.

Undercover Rocket
Kygore = SERIOUSLY broken and uber-stuck unless they have new ways to counter him.
Wobbuffet = INSANELY broken and was born to be uber, even by nintendo's rulings.

Disaster_Lord

Sad Bayleef is Sad.
his ability...no counter...
his atk encore...easy set up(at least a free turn)
enough stats to survive some comon hits for the set up
and even if used just to d bond or countercoat is just brioken.

His ability stops Rain, negates his weakness to Water while also giving the support to make Ho-oh and several other Pokés broken. That is all Drought needs to do.
Groudon itself is the perfect jack-of-all-trades and unless you are using a Rain abusing team, you have no reason not to use Groudon. He is a great lead or support Pokémon, he is an amazing physical sweeper with Rock Polish/Swords Dance that needs little support and he is a very good tank. It doesn't matter if you go Stall or Offense, you should always use Groudon.

Kyogre is the best single Pokémon, Groudon is the best team member.
Wobbuffet is the best supporter. While he doesn't sweep himself, he is able to always kill any Pokémon of your choice while still retaining enough health to lock an opponent into a useless move, allowing any of your set-up sweepers to sweep without any effort. And that is in Ubers. In OU he is even more ridiculous.

My only complain about DB is when gengar uses it..damn excellent speed and sp.attack + Destiny Bond = at least 2 pokemons KO`d

Not true DrJo. Destiny Bond has no priority, and Gengar is deathly afraid of Scizor. So I can step in and bullet punch before you get Destiny Bond off. Plus, who says Gengar gets a kill before it tries to DB? No kills are guaranteed dude. Unless you are using a wobbuffet.

But I digress, Wob comes in, Encores the move you use. If its Physical, he counters for massive damage. If its Special, he Mirror Coats for massive damage. Don't think you can just stall out the Encore with non-attacking moves, because if you lock yourself into a non-attacking move, he switches out and something sets up on you and rips holes through your team. Or instead of sending someone to set up, they send in someone Wish-pass to Wobbuffet, keeping him healthy.

Don't think you can avoid all of this by switching out. Shadow-Tag prevents that. Don't think its easy to sidestep getting your attacks bounced by OHKO him. His HP is phenominal. Don't think you can Toxic stall him. If he suspects any funny business he'll Safeguard up. Or he doesn't run Safeguard, he runs Destiny Bond, probably with a Wish + Aromantherapy Blissey to keep him happy.

Counter and Mirror Coat don't go off of percentages. They go off of actual Hp numbers. So if you do 175 damage to him (Im guessing that about 1/3rd his health), he will respond with a 350 damage attack, which is not something that most sweepers can handle. So ya... Guaranteed kills = Uber status

I Submit to No One
Shadow Tag, Counter, Mirror Coat, Encore and Tickle are reason enough for it to be banned. Counter and Mirror Coat are almost guaranteed OHKOs from Physical and Special Attacks respectively, Encore can turn the opponent into a free set-up for a powerful sweeper and Tickle can eliminate a threat if partnered up with a strong Pursuit user. Normally you could switch out against Tickle but Shadow Tag stops that. Want this in OU now guys?
