Both, however I hate PUSA more. So far, their intros are far worse than 4kids, they dub over Pokemon voices such as Chimchar's that are fine the way they were. And last but not least, they seem to take out the raw version's background music far more than 4kids.

It depends on what aspect you're talking about. 4Kids would be worse for edits (although WB may have had a hand in some of that), but PUSA is worse for voices.
And Dattebayo, shows of that rating can't have guns. That would happen no matter who was dubbing it.

4Kids by far. They can't even call rice balls by their original name. They're always donuts, or sandwiches, or popcorn balls. PUSA was at least decent enough to leave them as rice balls. It's not like it's a difficult concept. And need I mention the destruction of One Piece? No, I'm sure you all have heard enough about that.
Point being, horrible editing is much worse than horrible voice acting in my opinion. The original story and dialogue should be kept intact as much as possible, and 4Kids don't care about that in the least.

PUSA. I mortally hate them more than 4Kids. 4Kids dubbed Pokémon exceptionally well and we ALL fell in love with it. To turn your back and say they are WORSE than PUSA? ********. You don't deserve the title of Pokémon fan if you say so.

4kids has shown their ineptitude for shows other then Pokemon, but PUSA and 4kids are about equal for Pokemon. I voted for 4kids, as they're a dubbing company and really are probably dead after losing Pokemon. So, I guess choosing 4kids is more because of One Piece then Pokemon...
It's bad enough most of SOVA has become a group to try and make the new VA's look like horrible baby killers and complaining about everything, instead of...y'know, trying to save the Voice Actors.
Says who? That's dumb, you think watching the dub no matter who does it is more like a Pokemon fan then yelling about everything PUSA does.
Perfect example, the same practice 4kids did yet it's specifically for criticism against PUSA.

I say 4Kids. PUSA may not be the best, but.
-Half the time, their voices are more tolerabel than 4Kids
-More music is left in (Even though not all of them are left in)
-Barely any paint edits are made!

I'm not going against PUSA, I just feel they do a worse job. Pokemon seemed like the only thing 4kids was a little above average decent at dubbing than other anime series they got their hands on, and they were dubbing it for quite a long time. Heck, I got PO'ed at them for mutilating great shows such as Sonic X, and One Piece. I just wish PUSA would just fix and improve what 4kids didn't.

4kids, the way they badly edited the anime by putting sandwitches instead of riceballs/noodles in their last season was really sad imo. Both companies have their goods an bads though, overall I'm glad they still put good effort in translating pokemon episodes.

The only thing that bugged me about the 4kids dub:
- Leaving out the Japanese music.

- Some unrefined voices at the start
- Leaving out the Japanese music
- The crappy short openings
That's about it. 4kids definitely made better openings, that's not even arguable. The rest is unforgiveable.

4Kids not only because of how they handled the dub but their treatment of the fans. They basically treated us like trash and barely gave us the time of day. At least PUSA has some PR.
The dub itself: PUSA is a little better now that the voices have ironed themselves out a little. I would like the Japanese sound track to be kept in tact but the lack of cuts and paint edits are a victory.
Also, it seemed 4Kids was getting worse about the paint editting. Not only were they editting more but they were also getting sloppy at it (the infmaous floating sandwich). I'd fear what they would have done if they dubbed season nine or God forbid ten.

There's honestly not much of a difference between the two, besides the voices - and that's a topic that's been beaten to death, sealed in a coffin with basebat-weilding maggots which went on to beat the corpse, which was then resurected by dark magic, only to be beaten by baseball bat-weilding witches, sore from their defeat in the lil' league.
Boy, I'll tell ya - Coming up with a run on sentance isn't as easy as one would think.
In any case, they're equal in my ever-so humble opinion. They both have insert music that usually does not work at all, they both have openings that will never be as good as 'Battle Frontier', they both have a pool of mediocre voice actors with a few good apples and...well. That's all there is to it, quite frankly.
I love threads like this though. It's one of those wonderful things that paves the way for streotypes such as 'nitpicky internet nerd' and...well....it's something you can really appreciate when you're sitting there, knowing you're contributing, by listing the flaws of a children's television show. ;;
