Would This Work? - Emerald Battle Frontier Squads

I'm curious to as wether or not a weather team could take on the BatFro, yet I don't want to fully develop some Pokemon to find that they aren't useful, so do you guys think these two teams would work or not? Also, what are your thoughts on a Sunny Day and Hail teams for the Frontier as well? Bear in mind I can't trade with FR / LG / XD / Col' at all.

If you get rid of psychic on starmie, you loose the ability to handle heracross and maybe gengar. gyarados can dragon dance on something like suicune, rest off any damage and then sweep, rest is really good cos it gets rid of status which can totally ruin this set. you will really need something to absorb status as well.

never use this pokemon with starmie unless you have a grass type counter. grass/poison pokemon are immune to ludicolo. the best i have ever used is regice which is just amazing when paired with starmie.

this pokemon sucks. consider getting a flygon, it goes well with metagross

weather teams dont work in the BF. well they can but its sooo much easier to pick three pokemon that doesnt give you a common weakness

@Devastator1: Thanks for the recommendations, now, I do know that running a weather team in the Battle Frontier is risky, but I want to do it for novelty.
