Would you like to explore a pokemon region set in outer space?

In gen 7 Ultra Space was introduced so we know there are pokemon and people out there and I wish we could explore more of it.

If they do a reverse Legends (so a game in an old region but set centuries from now) they could have one of the missions visit a place in outer space. Like maybe a moon base because there's already Pokemon that represent or are implied to come from the Moon

Hmm, I'm not necessarily sure if a Pokemon game set ENTIRELY in space would work, but I wouldn't be opposed to more incorporation of space into the games in the same vein as the Delta Episode of ORAS.

I think a vision of what Turo's actual Future world would be interesting to see how much would change. But probably just a few missions like Teal Mask.
But not as a whole 8 gym region spin-off.

There are a few that look very alien like (not like ultra beasts)

Beeheeyem/Elgyem
Solosis line
Deoxys (It came from space)
Magnemite line
Bronzor line
Porygon line
Meltan line
Eternatus (It came from space)
The Future Paradox pokemon

It's one of those I think is a really cool concept. But I don't know if they would be able to do it justice right now given the recent issues they've have. But with sufficient time (and possibly a more powerful console than the switch) it could work.

Not really. Space is too vast a "region." IRL, it takes three days just to get to our moon which is virtually "across the street" from the Earth. Where would the protagonist even go? What kind of Pokemon would they even be able to find in the vacuum of space?

An Ultra Space Legends game would be fun. Could see how the URS’s ancestors made (Ultra) Necrozma lose its power and also get an unorthodox starter in Poipole (who is canonically a starter for them). USUM only touched the surface of the UBs home planets and we could also see more introduced. The concept art for the ones we never got to see like Blacephalon and Stakataka would be great to explore. Maybe more insight on how the alternate Hau’oli City that Guzzlord is ravaging through in USUM could work. There’s also the Cosmog line and how US energy leaking into Alola impacted it in the past.

There’s a lot of untapped potential here

I dunno. I feel that Gamefreak wants to be ambiguous on whether Paradox Pokemon are actually time-displaced creatures or something else is happening.

The region could be based just on one planet from Space or they could use ultra travel like the Sun/Moon games and travel faster to various planets. After all, the Ultra Recon Squad managed to travel to Alola from their planet. As for the pokemon, we already have ultra beasts, there could be more, but there are many pokemon that are believed to be from outer space such as Starmie, Clefairy, Elgyem, Beheeyem, Lunatune, Solrock, Minior etc.

The Ultra Recon region is small. Most of it is a game of boosting up the right warp speed to locales where you find a legendary to fight, a empty locale with a item (or rare spot where a thunder stone can evolve into kanto raichu) or lastly Ultra Megalopolis.
Ultra Megalopolis is just a interior of a medium fortress made to protect people from reaching the tower containing Ultra Necrozma.

I don’t think we know for sure how big it is since they had barricades all over the place and we weren’t allowed to explore that location or what could’ve been past the city. However, that doesn’t mean they can’t expand upon it? Or even create other, even bigger locations.

I haven't played too much of USUM, but aren't Ultra Space and Outer Space two different things? Isn't Ultra Space a different dimension, from the normal Pokemon universe? Tbf, if the two can be confused, then didn't they already do a 'space' game?

I think you are correct, they are two different things. Even so, the pokemon world is very technological and I think they could find a way to travel out of planet earth.

I don’t think Sun/Moon games can be considered 100% space games since it mostly takes place in Alola. That being said it certainly has many elements and even locations that are from “space”, but I think there’s potential for more.

I would be okay to a small section being in space in a similar vein to how ORAS made you track down the meteor with the Deoxys is in.

I don't want a whole region based on space unless some spin-off wants to cover that.

Probably not, because I wouldn't see the appeal of a Pokemon game that's set in outer space: if I wanted to play a game that takes place in outer space, there are at least a dozen other space-themed games that I would rather play, instead.

Fully in outer space? No, absolutely not. Not unless it's like a spinoff game, or something because I don't feel like this is something that Pokemon could really do justice.
