Wouldn't it be so Awesome if in the Game. Team Rocket gave you a CHOICE to join them. So when you buy a Pokemon game, you have a choice to represent good or evil. I know I for one would love to be a Rocket and try to battle Newcomers.

I don't get it, that in R/B/Y - FR/LG, The guy at Nugget Bridge asks you to join TR, But you have no option but to reject his supreme offer. Pointless really!

l3ite- There are some games that allow you play as the bad guy, like Dungeon Keeper you are a bad guy, there others as well.

Awesome idea and when you battle sum1 u can steal there pokemon and get more money if u win.but it wont happen cause nintendo is all about hereos,they never make all viallian games.

The game creators would never allow that because they simply would never allow evil to win.

Of course, the definition of "Evil" is... not really fixed, so people could debate for days on end about the evil of Team *insert(magma:aqua:rocket:cipher:whatever)*.

I agree, this would be really interesting, receiving orders from Giovanni, stealing stuff, but the game tries to teach you moral lessons, and stealing isn't really a moral thing to do in most cases. Even though the game is too subtle for the lessons to be completely visible, they are present nonetheless. It would be against the principle of the game and it's rudimentary, underlying basis: discovery, communication, persistance, good from bad, right from wrong. An opportunity to join Team Rocket is not usually considered to contain one of those ethical meanings. Au contraire, it teaches exactly the opposite of that. So, no. You cannot join, and you will never be able to join, even though, in certain aspects, it would be appealing.

Right. It would take quite a lot of programming and graphical designing in order not to make it boring.

The good guys always seem to win. It would be slightly cool if you could be a Rocket and steal other people's Pokemon to earn money and promotions.

I think it would be a little interesting to see if you could join Team Rocket/Aqua/Magma. It'd be neat for us to see what would happen if evil one for once. ;D I'd like to see.

It certainly would be cool if you had the option to join the Rockets. It would let you be more expressive of yourself. However, it won't ever happen. After all, the game was always about taking up the role of a Pokemon trainer.

How cool would that be! ^^ Sadly though, like many have said..it wouldn't happen.. *sigh* It would be great though-I love Team Rocket.. I just can't quite see how Nintendo going on how they've made the other pokemon games, could really develop a fitting plot for it anyhow...

I could see the main character join Team Snagem in Orre. You could go around on missions given to you where you had to steal certain Pokemon. I don't think any of the other teams would work, though. Maybe a game where you are with Magma/Aqua and you have to capture Groudon/Kyogre, but that'd just be lame.

You know what would be cool too. Like during the whole game. You are alwasy gettting asked qquestions with yes or no answers. And at the very end, those Answers to the Q's u were asked will determine wether your good or evil

Or it could be like a Pokemon version of Grand Theft Auto but replacing killing with KOs instead due to certain restrictions by Nintendo.
