I just got this letter in the mail that said "It's been far to long since my last letter." It came with 1,000 bells. Is this a Wi-Fi thing? Anyone else got it?

You only have to connect to Wi-Fi to get something? No going to other people's towns or stuff?

Yesterday 2-13 Nintendo sent out letters with 1,000 bells for all those who connected to Wifi as a way to make up for the red tulip item. Today 2-14 Nintendo has sent out a lovely couch, but there has been some that said they also received a flag pole, which is a Nintendo item.

I was just on the NSider forums as well, and there are like 5 who claim that they got the flagpole. They seem to be unrelated or know each other other than fellow posters, so it's hard NOT to believe them, but I doubt Nintendo would have given special treatment to a handful of random users.
