X-Men: The Extermination of Humanity
Basic Overview of X-Men:
For as long as anyone can remember, there have always been two worlds on this planet. The normal world and the ‘mutant’ world. This ‘mutant’ world that co-exists with the ‘normal’ world is home to a ‘race’ of people called mutants. These mutants are still nonetheless, human beings; sometimes there is no way of telling them apart from ‘normal’ people, while other times, it is glaringly obvious.
They are still so called Homo sapiens; we are of the same blood and flesh. The only difference is mutants, who are actually called Homo sapien superiors, possess fantastical, unreal, even deadly supernatural powers they were born with. Their powers range from the ability to levitate a small teaspoon to the power to cause a Hurricane, even to take lives in mass numbers with the simple flick of a finger. Nonetheless, even though their powers and abilities are great; they are still human beings, and speak in the languages used by humans. And so the Mutant World existed alongside our world…
The two worlds have co-existed for many centuries; some times being more peaceful than others. Nevertheless, we still shared the same soil and turf and the two worlds managed to keep sound harmony. That was until recent times…
Unfortunately, not all mutants and civilians are as mild and open minded as it is desired. Not all mutants are good, some turn bad, evil. These mutants turn bad and openly show their hate they have for normal humans. These dark mutants believe in Mutant Superiority over baseline humans and believe in the so called ‘blood purity’; that those with superpowers, are superior to all of those who are not, and the humans should be rid of.
They torture and kill humans; they blackmail their supporters, even if they are mutants themselves. But most gruesome of all, these people will not stop at any chance to achieve their goal; all who stand in their way are killed. The humans, spiteful, full of hatred and most importantly, afraid, grew a bitter prejudice against the mutants; even those who support them… For many years blood have been shed; both innocent and guilty…
For many years, three forces fought bitterly against each other; mutants who believe in mutant superiority, humans who are afraid and spiteful towards mutants and the mutants who believe in peace; those who believe mutants and humans can peacefully co-exist. Many lives have been lost on all sides but in recent times, peace had been preserved and the evil mutants were no more. But they were not gone; for they lied dormant in the ranks of men, patiently waited for the perfect chance to strike. All they needed was a leader to lead them in battle and to achieve their goal…
It all began on a typical day in the newly formed State of Israel. A Jewish man, who had recently experienced the horrors of the Holocaust, was at the psychiatric hospital near Haifa, where he and many other Holocaust survivors were receiving counselling to help release them from their traumas. There, the man met a crippled worker in a wheel chair at the hospital.
The two then became immediate friends and they held lengthy debates hypothesising what would happen if humanity were to be faced with a new, super-powered, race of humans. The Jewish man believed the new race of humans should and would conquer over the humans in a militant fashion while the crippled worker thought the two races should and would peacefully co-exist in harmony. The two men then departed and left in their separate ways. Those two men were known as Erik Magnus Lehnsherr and Charles Francis Xavier. Little did they know what was soon to follow…
There is a gene called the “X-Factor” that determines if you are to be a mutant or a human. Those with the gene are mutants while those without it are not… That gene had been dormant for a notable amount of time been suddenly, it started to reappear rapidly in the new generation of teenagers; the two worlds were soon forced to collide again…
The humans were afraid; the mutants were now growing in mass numbers. They were afraid of them. Many killed and committed mass genocide of mutants. Things were getting out of hand. Soon, the evil mutants were getting restless… and bloodthirsty... Then it happened…
The evil mutants were united under one leader while the good mutants were also united under one leader. Two forces were about to collide. These two leaders were now called Magneto and Professor X.; once known as Erik Lehnsherr and Charles Xavier…
Xavier’s group was known as the X-Men; Magneto’s group named themselves the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Rivals, enemies, nemeses, call them what you wish but the two forces fought bitterly and casualties were on both sides…
Finally, after the efforts of many people, humans and mutants alike, the Brotherhood had been defeated. People rejoiced and the X-Men were smiling with relief; a battle had been won. But the war was not over yet…
It was quiet but cloudy night. Fog and mist enshrouded and choked out the eerie light of the moon and vision had become useless. There was an abandoned warehouse; the local superstitious residents said it was haunted, nobody went near it. Two cloaked figures appeared from the fog. They cautiously approached the warehouse then the taller of the two pushed open the rusty doors and they entered it.
As the two entered and closed the door them, a raspy voice belonging to a female called out to them.
“Magneto, I cannot believe it. They actually came!”
“Yes my friend. I knew I could rely on Dr. Doom and Callisto”
The two figures approached the only light source in the warehouse; a single rusty light-bulb where two other figures were waiting. One resembled a woman; if you can call her that. She was of average height and her figure and weight was consistent for a woman of her age. But this woman was no ordinary human. Her skin for one was a fluorescent blue. It was looked reptilian and alien; definitely not human. Her eyes also had a reptilian look to them; they were a sickly yellow colour which caused shivers down your spine. She also had fiery crimson red hair which reached her shoulders and severely contrasted with her skin.
The other was a seemingly harmless old man. He had aged gracefully; his snowy white hair shone with wisdom and he did not seem as old as he appeared to be. But there was something about his eyes; they were of no particular colour and looked as if all trances of the very life and liveliness had been removed from them. Yet they radiated with both wisdom and eerie malice and evil.
The two cloaked figures approached the old man and the reptilian woman. The reptilian woman smirked as one of the two figures spoke.
“Magneto, I’ve only agreed to this plan if you were to keep your side of the deal,” the figure spoke, letting his hood down.
Magneto sighed. “Yes Victor, Latveria WILL be saved. I reassure you not a single living soul in Latveria shall be hurt in any way, shape or form.”
Dr Doom nodded. “Good. That was the only reason I agreed to this plan”
The reptilian woman smirked yet again as the second cloaked figure spoke.
“Magneto, I must confess. Doom here had been the biggest nuisance I had to work with since my Morlock days,” the figure commented as she also let down her hood.
“Actually, I consider you the bigger nuisance to work with Callisto,” sneered Magneto’s blue-skinned companion.
Callisto snarled. “Mystique, one day I will rip that throat of yours off that grotesque body of yours. Magneto, do you have the plan? The one we’ve been preparing for decades?”
While Mystique growled, Magneto smiled mysteriously and answered Callisto question. “Yes, the plan has been finalised. I have it with me right now”
Magneto took out a roll of parchment with many detailed diagrams and instructions all over it. Callisto’ reached out for the plan but Mystique abruptly grabbed her arm. Callisto seethed silently as Magneto explained.
“Not yet, first, you must show us what you have brought,” hushed Magneto.
Doom nodded and he beckoned four mysterious figures to come closer to the group. Magneto and Mystique peered at the four and then looked satisfied.
“Well Mystique, Doom and Callisto have done what is needed. Let go of Callisto’s arm,” Magneto said suavely as Mystique grudgingly let go of Callisto’s arm. Callisto quickly shot a glare at Mystique before grabbing the parchment with Magneto’s approval.
“That is your copy of the plan Callisto. Mystique, give Doom his copy as well”
The blue-skinned woman handed Doom another parchment. Doom glanced at it and he looked content. Magneto then beckoned for the other four and his three companions to put their hands one of top each-others.
“Now, the Brotherhood is now reborn. We must haste as the Anti-Matter Machine is soon to be deported so we must get to the CERN,” said Magneto as Callisto suddenly interrupted the elderly man.
“Wait Magneto, don’t you want to properly meet the four of most powerful mutants to ever step on this planet?”
Magneto paused then he replied. “Of course my dear”
Doom nodded as Callisto beckoned for the four mutants to move forward into the light. Magneto and Mystique then properly saw their faces. One was a young man in his early twenties. He was the second tallest from the four. He was fair-haired and his eyes looked as if there were alight with electricity. Another was a young woman, also in her early twenties. Her ivory black hair shone in the dim light with an eerie aura. It reached at least to her voluptuous waist. Her eyes her auburn, almost red and made your blood chill.
The next was another woman; she was older than the first two, probably in her late twenties. Her hazelnut brown hair looked supple and silky as it fell gracefully just past her shoulders. She had amethyst eyes that were filled with wisdom but also sparkling with deceit. The last was the tallest out of all the five; a man a few years older than the woman before him. His muscles looked like they were trained to kill. He had chocolate brown hair but there was nothing sweet or nice about the man. His eyes were an azure shade of blue, but filled with only anger and rage.
“The blonde electric one goes by the name Electroy. The red-eyed girl next to him calls herself the Necroprancer while people call the most normal looking one, the woman next to the Necroprancer, Neutronica. Finally, the buffed up killer over there, most people call him the Flying Hammer,” Callisto summed up as Magneto greeted them.
“Welcome to the Brotherhood my friends, now we must-”
Suddenly Magneto cut off and shot a bolt of energy at the wall behind him. Callisto raised eyebrows while Doom looked unaffected. Mystique walked up to Magneto and she spoke to him.
“It was him, wasn’t it? I could sense his presence,” the Shapeshifter mutant enquired.
Magneto nodded. “Yes, one of Xavier’s foul spawn had been spying on us. Nightcrawler. I just missed him”
“Then we must hurry! You know what this means!” said Callisto.
“Yes, Xavier will soon know what has taken place here. We must hurry. The Extermination of Humanity has just begun”
Nightcrawler panted as he touched his tail. The energy bolt had just missed it. His worst fears had been confirmed, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants had been reborn. He must hurry, for if he did not, he feared for the lives of all who live on this planet…
The X-Men looked at each other. They knew what was to be done. If what Nightcrawler said was true then they must be fight for all they stand for. Xavier then proceeded to be Cerebra. The Brotherhood was reborn, stronger than ever before. The X-Men would need all the help they can get. They knew many strong mutants still were undetected. The X-Men need their help to thwart the Brotherhood. Professor X. certainly hoped so…
Summary:
You are one of the mutants that have been enlisted to help thwart the Brotherhood. You have received a strange letter from a mysterious Professor “X.” to attend a seminar at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. You do NOT know you are a mutant. The only thing you do know that you have “special” powers. Everyone will be divided into one of these three teams: Group A, led by Wolverine, Group B led by Jean Grey a.k.a “Phoenix” and Group C is led by Cyclops. The fate of Humanity now rests in your hands…
Okay, now that that’s done, I suppose I have to explain technical terms now?
Sign-Ups:
Keep in mind that this is NOT The X-Men’s story. It is related but not the same. Remember to keep your characters far away from the X-Men. In the RPG, you’ll have NO IDEA about The Brotherhood, the X-Men and anything major; there is no real reason you should. You probably don’t know much about mutants either apart you ARE a mutant. Don’t make your character like he/she was sitting right behind Rogue or Iceman all the time. Nobody could have apart from the main witnesses. Also, regarding characters from Alternate Universes that are NOT Marvel’s; I want NONE of it. I’m sorry but Plot Purposes. Your character must be not overpowered. The maximum amount of powers allowed is TWO. No combined power terms such as “Psychic” or “Electromagnetism”. Psychic is a combination of two separate powers, Telepathy and Telekinesis just as Electromagnetism is also a combination of two or three powers; Electrokinesis, Magnetokinesis and possibly even Gravitokinesis. So don’t try and avoid the limit by doing this.

AT LEAST FIVE LINES.
Group:
Later in the RPG, you will be divided into three main groups, Group A, Group B and Group C; led by Wolverine, Jean Grey and Cyclops respectively. Every group will go in their own direction and have their own adventure so choose wisely. Group A are the leaders of the pack; they are the ones who lead in battle. Group B are the strategists; they plan and strategise everything that will happen. Group C are the ones responsible on spying and generally the ones who are the espionage for the X-Men against the Brotherhood. Note that this RPG will be like three separate ones; every group taking a different direction. There MUST be equal numbers in each group so the maximum number for each one is four.
Abilities:
Your character may have a maximum of two powers. You can choose any power or ability. You may NOT use Reality Wrapping and Time Travel. Your character may have some trouble controlling them, depending on the powers. Keep it simple and easy for the moment. When there's a cafe thread, we can work on other abilities you can discover during the RPG. Here is a good site if you are stuck with finding good Superhero Powers.
Powers in Superhero Ficiton
Sample:
Please make a sample of your character getting to the Institute. You are either at the airport catching a plane and you’re late, on a packed train which is in a middle of a BIG delay or catching a taxi in a middle of a GIANT traffic jam.
Basic rules:
1) No God-Modding or 'invincible' players.
2) I have the right to expel or refuse anyone who does not meet my standards.
3) You have a right to know why I am expelling/refusing you.
4) I expect you to at least skim each person’s post so you know what is happening.
5) If you are going to swear excessively, post a warning at the top of your post please. I don’t mind swearing if it is appropriate for that situation, but no needless profanity please.
6) No extreme romance, i.e. No sex scenes. If you are thinking of developing a relationship between two characters, kissing is the maximum you can do.
7) No bunnying, i.e. controlling another RPGer’s character. You can only control another person’s character with their expressed permission VIA PM.
8) Try to post at least once every two days. I don't want this to die as soon as it starts.
9) HAVE FUN!
The rules could be edited later.
I am cracking down on grammar, length and depth in this RPG. I will not, I repeat, not accept anyone who I feel cannot uphold to my grammar and RPG’ing standards. I will also expect an RPG sample from any applicants, to prove you are capable of posting to my standards.
Be warned: When the RPG starts, I will not hesitate to expel any members of the Five who don’t post long replies. No five line additions to the RPG, that’s not a post. Plus, I expect some level of maturity in your posts, and a basic usage of proper, and possibly advanced, English.
Reservations: This RPG is aimed for MATURE people who have high RPG standards. I will only reserve spots for RPG moderators and those I can trust. Everyone else, do it the hard way.
I need at least nine people including myself to start the RPG, two in each group. The maximum amount of participators in this RPG including myself is twelve. I kind of forgotten who was in this RPG before so those who were in the old one, you'll have to do it the same way like everyone else; unless I know you well enough for a Reservation.

My own Sign-Up:
Name: Joshua Sway
Alter Ego: Chronicles
Age: 16
Description: Joshua, or Josh he prefers to be called, is a not a normal boy, in more ways than one. His height is average for his age and his weight is also average for his height and age but Josh is no average boy. He has russet brown hair that stops just below the top of his ears and is straight and silky looking. His eyes are a light hazy colour--the colour is not definite but it sometimes appears to be a hazy blue. He has pale skin that may look soft and supple but in reality, battle hardened by many hard and traumatic experiences.
He has lithe limbs and he is very flexible and agile for his age. People say he is handsome but Josh doesn’t believe that and he has a fairly slender and decent build. He wears a middle sleeved T-shirt with a zigzagged cobalt stripe in the middle and over it; he wears a dark amethyst jacket with a zigzagged cobalt stripe on each arm sleeve. He also wears pair of tan brown cargo pants. These are his everyday normal clothes. He does have a training suit and a combat suit.
Personality: To put it simply, Josh is a loner. He is the most antisocial person you ever met. He will try and detract from any social circle and often makes sarcastic and sadistic, even callous remarks about people. Josh thinks Friendship is an idiotic thing; a fantasy for fools. Josh is also bitter towards people, detracting any people who want to be his friends. This was partly to do with all the suffering he had. But that’s just his exterior. Underneath all the harsh words and cold exterior is a warm heart. He is a surprisingly compassionate and caring person if you know him well, but nobody knows him well; Josh never had a real friend before…
History: Josh was born and lived in San Francesco, for all of his life. He loved the water and the sea and was bought up right next to it. He soon became a child prodigy; being exceptionally talented in all forms of academics but he was especially talented at archery. But unfortunately, Josh was an illegitimate child; he never knew his father. He never really fitted-in in any social circle. As a “half-breed”, he faced racial prejudice everyday. Josh, as a result, became a loner, he bottled up all his anger, pain loneliness and frustration and he slowly but surely became the antisocial loner he is currently today.
Then that faithful day came; Josh’s life was about to take a turn for the worse. Josh had returned home where he found his mother brutally raped and murdered; her arms had been hacked off and her neck and hips broken. Josh was heartbroken. He was sent to his Grandfather’s in New York City.
There, his mutant powers of Time Manipulation first emerged, making him even more depressed; if he had knew had was “special” early, he could have prevented his mother’s death. Josh didn’t look like he had changed a bit since the murder but ever since the day his mother died, Josh had vowed to kill all of the unjust and those who prey on the weak and he won’t stop until he is satisfied…
POWERS:
Chronokinesis- Chronokinesis is an uncommon ability to mentally affect, manipulate and control the flow of time. Josh has this uncommon ability. At this present moment in time, how ironic, Josh can only slow down or speed up time by three seconds at the most. He is unaffected by his own powers.
Photokinesis- Josh also has the power to manipulate and generate “light” and its properties of energy and power with the use of photons. At this present point in time, Josh can only produce a small burst of light around the size of his palm and maintain it for a few minutes. The light is too dim and is only, at this present time, able to light up a dim room.
