[Sweet May]

Though I'm not a beginning spriter, I'm not a master spriter either. I might be good, but I made this thread to show people the sprites I made and hope that the advice/comments I get might help me improve and become a master spriter one day. But any way, onto the show. ;

^Those were like the first revamps I made. I definitely need to fix them.

More revamps when I was getting a bit better. Colors for the Clair sprite came from Coronis.

Some chaos [inspiration came from Momiji]

Probably the only 2 mixes I would ever be able to do. xDD; First one is Natu/Diglett and the other is Kyogre/Skitty.

Some trainer edits.

Shuu, Rui, Jean [made by request], Mizuki [fan made character], AND Satoshi.

and tried revamping a few trozei sprites.

Munchlax's colors were from Coronis. But I did the trozei thing on my own. xD

And the devamps. D:

Some front view overworlds. :<

Mizuki, and the 2 D/P trainers, Pearl [or Hikari] and Diamond.

And FINALLY some pixelart.

Sugimori art pixelized.Might need some more shading or something.

Did a pixelover of Roselia from a pic of the anime and then recolored the shiny one from the orginal.

I know I must need a lot of help. But this is where I stop talking and where you give me what I need improvement.

Well, I'm no expert in sprites.. or in fact, I'm an amateur in sprites, but they're looking pretty/very good. And no need to be so negative about your work, because they're wonderful.

most of them are great but your revamps well...they need some work. (bit more than some) specially on the outline.

They look very nice. Hmm... improvements...

Eeveelution revamps: I would never have imagined that monocolored outlines could look so good. You should still probably try to add multi-colored outlines, though. Umbreon's outline is too light, too.

The second umbreon revamp: There's no outline between the side of his face and the rest of his body.

Shuckle revamp: Too much contrast in the different leg outlines. Also, shouldn't the dark outlines go onto the legs to our right?

Trozei revamps: Heh, I've never seen trozei revamps before. What is the light blue pokemon on the left, though? Pachirisu?

Skitty: Very good. But her ears need highlights, and try making the highlight on her tail an oval shape, instead of "coating" the sides like that.

These are great, I especially love the revamps and devamps, but moreso the revamps.

I'm no expert on Sprites, either, so...yeah.

Of course I love the Satoshi sprite. I also really like the Eeveelution revamps. :3 The Jirachi chaos = <3!! The overworlds are great, imo. The only thing I really see wrong is the Skitty pixel art. The second hair/whatever is not straight, unless it is supposed to be like that, lol.

Thanks for the advice/comments. I should fix those revamps [I suppose I'm not best with shading. >>;] I'll listen to your words, omnitarian. Although pay no attention to the light blue thing. But I'll try making a Pachirisu trozei sprite. ^^;

And I've been trying to fix that Skitty pixel art, Chelc. I guess it needs more. xD;

Let's see, your shading could use some work, especially on the Eeveelutions and the other Umbreon sprite.

Oh, and take out the body on the Azurill chao. Just attach it's legs to it's head, and make the ball on the tail bigger. Right now the ball looks like a mat that it's standing on

Your pixel overs are pretty good, but the shading on Roselia's head is flat, and there should be some light hitting Skitty's ears.

Yes. Thank you so much Bonemerang [still can't stop calling you Marowak XD] xD; But will try all you suggested. I know that Azurill's tail got a little problems. Hehe... trying some pixel overs because I love doing them for some reason. xD

No problem ^^. Yeah, pixel overs can be addicting. I once tried it and couldn't stop until I finished five and got tired of starring at the computer xD.

Just so this isn't SPAM, make the shading on Skitty's head more round. It looks like a "U" right now, but it should be more of an "O". Wait, does that make sense at all?

Oh yeah, and you could try to shade the outlines on your revamps. It's not mandatory, but I think it gives the sprites a more "3D" look to them. I think only Shuckle and Umbreon have shaded outlines.

The mixes and trozei sprites are very nice, but when devamping, you should watch the outline. You left it almost completely black. *Looks at Skitty and Beautifly*
The same with the revamps. You added the shadow yourself, what is good. (except the Espeon, I don't like his ears.) But you left the outline completely black.
But still, the sprites are quite good.

Well I use regular paint [it's all I have] -__- But better than nothing I guess. o_o;;

And well Beautifly isn't that easy to do for anything. x___X And yeah. Revamps need work. Period.

But since I used to have a trainer card shop around, I gave thought into revamping the Pinball sprites of the Kanto Pokemon.

Wow, those are acually pretty good. Again, you still have some shading problems like Parasect's mushroom, the Eeveelutions, and Porygon's head has really straight shading, but keep up the good work ^^.

Who's being negative? I'm helping her get better by telling her some mistakes she made, but all you did was say nice sprites and leave .
