Xavier

Delphina

^^I'm with stupid^^
This is a very pointless, plotless one-shot that i wrote a very long time ago! I don't know why I wrote it *hugs to anyone who bothers to read it*

The forbidding forest loomed up ahead of him and, as he grew nearer, he broke the shelter of the shadows and sprinted across a patch of dew covered grass, dimly lit by the starry sky. Then, he was gone, swallowed whole by the gnarled arms of the ancient wood. Those few seconds of exposure revealed a sinister figure, clad entirely in black, silhouetted against the full moon. Xavier Ramirez. The contract killer.

He set off, slinking swiftly through the cobwebby branches that entwined themselves across his path and whipped him viciously round the head. The prickly undergrowth tore at his legs, ripping them to a mass of blood and scabs, yet he did not utter a sound. The forest and the night enveloping was deadly silent and evil eyes peered out of the gloom, following his steady progress, yet his footsteps did not falter. It was only when he reached the very heart of the forest, that he paused, on the edge of a clearing surrounded by thick vegetation, swaying gently in the breeze.

Xavier slid a 9mm Glisenti bullet into his, top of the range, Italian Sub-Machine gun, and slowly, cautiously, he crept forwards. Through the large oak branches he could just make out the magnificent mansion, in which lived the multi-millionaire, Yocham Texiera. The house was a tall, elegant building, in the centre of a large, well-mowed lawn. Upon which, there was a spotless tennis court, a swimming pool, sparkling in the sun and a helicopter. Parked in the drive were several Rolls Royces and four Limos. It was the house of a man with money as toys.

Xavier dropped down behind a clump of thick rhododendrons and lay, noiselessly, in wait. This was a well planned assassination and therefore, Xavier knew that in exactly 3 minutes Yocham would come out of the house. It would take him exactly 23 steps to reach the steps of the helicopter. It was in these steps that he must die.

When Yocham emerged from the house, his last vision was one of the shiny new helicopter awaiting him, before he collapsed in a heap on the ground. Blood poured out the wound in Yocham’s chest where the bullet had punctured his skin. His body guards who had appeared seconds after the gunshot immediately began searching the area from where the gunshot had sounded, but to no avail. Xavier Ramirez had slipped back into the forest’s tight embrace.

Another mission accomplished.
