This was a fun little challenge my brother gave me. I had to build a team centered around a central theme and pit it against his team, which in my opinion is one of the greatest teams I have ever seen.

The theme for challenge one was Baton Pass, and this is the team I made.

Ninjask
Level: 100
Gender: Male
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Speed Boost
Item: Leftovers
EV's: ATT 252, DEF 150, SP. DEF 108
Moves
Baton Pass
Shadow Ball
Silver Wind
Swords Dance

A staple of a Baton Pass team, Ninjask is the fastest Pokemon. Swords Dance maxes his ATT in three turns. Silver Wind and Shadow Ball are it's attack moves, but it's true purpose is, of course, to Baton Pass to another Pokemon.

Hidden Power [Dragon]

Mr. Mime serves several purposes for this team. The first is Follow Me. He usues Follow Me so that Ninjask can Dance and Pass. Another purpose is to Calm Mind and Pass, or Clam Mind and attack. His final purpose is to accept a full Pass from Ninjask, Calm Mind, and then Pass again, althought I rarely use this as it takes too long and leave me vulnerable.

The last Pokemon of mine that uses Baton Pass. The strategy here is to Psych Up off Ninjask, then use BOTH of them to pass to the last two Pokemon, or just keep Absol in there for the fight. Aerial Ace covers it's fighting weakness.

As it states, I gave a little challenge to my little sister to create a Baton Pass team. This is the second challenge I've given her, and I think she did rather well. What are your thoughts on it?

Ninjask- sub/silverwind/swordsdance/batonpass

Mr.Mime-CalmMind/BatonPass/Sub/Psychic

Absol- Swordsdance/batonpass/shadowball/return

Tyranitar- eq/rs/t-bolt/filler

There are much better baton passrs than absol.

Smeargle w/belly drum and ingrain can work over absol.

Vaporeon over machamp can work to pass subs/wishes/acidarmors.

Tyranitar can be the reciever.

no spell tag for absol. it is weak and takes up an item slot. instead, use something like starf berry since it is a bp team. ninjask might as well be a adamant. instead of shadow ball, use sub. it increases speed from speed boost and helps in survive for a couple of turns. no point in speed ev's for tyranitar unless it is a d-dancer.
