"¡Yo no quiero ir madre!" Haizea moaned in Spanish to her mother. She had said, I don't want to go Mother!
"Don't use my own language on me young lady!" her mother warned. Her mother was mostly Spanish but part Italian and German. Her father was more of a mixture.
"But I know nothing about Xiaolin Monks or anything!" Haizea continued to moan.
"Haizea," Her father started to say, "Your cousin, Raimundo, went missing with three other Xiaolin Monks. You're the closest--"
"Rai went missing?! Why didn't I know about that?! Merde!" Haizea demanded adding in a French word, that made her parents suprised she knew it.
"Listen to me Haizea," her father continued, "I know you and your cousin were really close--"
"Until he became a Xiaolin Monk," Haizea grumbled, "then he never spoke to me... he was always 'too busy'"
"Haizea. Please listen to what your father has to say," her mother pleaded.
Haizea looked from her mother to her father and eventually sighed, showing him that he could speak.
"Listen Haizea," her father finally got a chance to speak without being interrupted, "We didn't understand what they meant by you were the closest match to your cousin. But just give it a try. For us."
Haizea looked at her parents. They really seemed to want her to go.
"Fine then..." she rumbled, "I'll go..."
Haizea finished recalling her memory to why she was standing outside a temple. Now she had a more positive attitude on. But she didn't know what had set her off. Well, I don't know anything about this place, Haizea told herself that that was the reason. But she knew the reason was that when her cousin had become a Xiaolin Monk, it seemed like he had forgotten all about her. Thats why Haizea was reluctant at first. She was afraid that she'd forget.
Might aswell say hi to the othr newbies when they get here, she decided as she looked around to see if anyone new, like herself, was here.
