~Year Of 2005 Sprite Contest Results~

Ok, let's start off with the negatives first. Never PM me, asking me for the results, it only makes me more mad. When changing/adding an entry, please don't put it another post. And, also, some sprites that were entered in certain categories should've be placed in a different one. Anyways, other than that everything went good. Except that part where the judges didn't judge all of their categories. And that's why the results were cancelled. But there they are. Now, we have the results and all, but let's analyze. The score in the upper right of the sprite is the score they gained out of a total of 44. In some cases, there were low scores and high ones. Also, there were ties at somepoints. Ok, I know you are bored by now, but I have one more thing to say. I had an idea in mind, I wanted to see which spriter won the most places and entered how much contest (unknowing to you) and I would say that aocomv2 is the Best Spriter of 2005. Now the results:

Wow, I got placed in five categories. o.o

Congrats everyone who placed, and great job even if you didn't win anything.

IMO, this contest was judged pretty fairly.

well, although i didn't win i'm very glad to see a well judged contest..the only sprites i don't completely agree with are devamps...but i have a feeling not a lot of sprites were entered

Yep, alot weren't entered. No offense of anything, but I don't even remember you entering, heh.

Anyways, I would like to thank castiboy, Nevermore, revl89, Phanpylover06, Gardevoir Master, Mystic Flames. I think that's about them. Please correct me if I left out any ;\

Oh and if you guys want to know what scores you got in which contest, please ask me to do give you your score.

Cool, three places. :D Yay for seasons! Anyways, I'm sorry for the PM, I just let my curiosity get the best of me and I really had no intentions of making you angry. But I think you did a great job and I can't wait to enter the next one!

Oh, and I'm interested in finding out my score. :)

And this seem to be very well-judge, compare to the last 2 contests..-.-; Anyway, congras to everyone, and hopes another contest will be host by you soon! =3

BTW: I ranked 7 times! xP Booyah! And 3 of em were 1st! =3

Well done everyone.. I'll try for next time.. Poocheyna definatly desvered best animation.. For once Waterlunar's Miltonair didn't place first in beauty! ^^;

I still fail to see how my stantler recolor got third considering everything on it was recolored, not just a few added sparkels. And my jigglypuff nver deserved to place, but whatever, I ain't complaining. My oddchu is also cuter than that octopus thing. However, you're the judge, and you can do whatever you like.

Umm, if you zoom in, and check properly maybe you'll see why. Anyways, I couldn't really do anything I liked mainly because my score was a 1 out 4 basis. I had favourites in the cutest, but did they win? No. Congrats on placinng ^o^

Starter530, I was shocked when I checked over the placements and you only obtained one placement (I think :eek: ) You entries were good IMO, but like I said, my scores weren't enough to let anyone win.

And for your scores, you need to point out which sprite and which category. I am a bit tired to check through my self. After, I had school to keep be back and this contest. As for other contests, I think I might get the rights for keeping an end of year contest (like this one).

Also, some of the judges apllied to judge, but I ended going to my other spriter friends for help.

One of the best judged contests I've seen (and no, I'm not just saying that because I got placed...). I only have a problem with the 'cool' category. Too bad we have to wait a whole year until the next one. D: If there is a next one anyways. Then it can become annual!
I would judge in one of these contests, but as I've said before, school is a time stealer.

Well I had a R/B squirtle in the best revamp contest. I also had a Bayleef colored Dragonair in the best re-color contest.

YAY!! Recolor first, woot woot! 3rd in Devamp, woot woot! But my Golbat didn't place, or togepi.........oh well. This was a good contest! Very nice indeed!
