YGO Adv.: Dragon Fusion

Before you Flame me, this is my older brother's deck. He's stubborn that he wants it to be a Dragon Fusion deck, but I think it could definetly be better =\ Who's with me, and how could I make it better, while A) Fitting the Theme, B) Keeping it Budgeted. NOTE: My deck is where most of the Staples are going.

I know Spirit Ryu is used for a fusion, but maybe taking out a copy, I mean its got an alright effect but it got limited meaning you can only discard ONE dragon to rasie its attack....its pretty pointless now.

Chuck in a King of the Swamp or two, they are commons so cheap in one of the reprinty sets but also they have two jobs:

A) Fish out Polymerization

B) Can count as a fusion substitute.

Maybe remove the Time Wizards, I mean luck is good when you get it right but I mean even in a tight spot Time Wizard isn't the kinda card you can rely on. (Though you do need them for Thousand Dragon, Thousand Dragon is the helpful fusion which happens to be substitute-able i.e: can be summoned using a replacement material monster).

Also add a Dragon's Mirror or two, fusing dragons on the field/grave will be very very helpful for this deck. Which also happens to be a common in a set, go figure ^.^

Majorly needs some monster removal/protection not through battle, maybe a Negate Attack (common in Judai 1 Pack), Heavy Storm (common in some deck) or Sakuretsu Armour (reprint in some deck too)....you know cards like that.

And I fail to see how much The Heart of Clear water will really help, I mean....its a useful card in say a deck which revolves around weaker ATK monsters but not dragons their attacks are usually high.

One last thing I can say, add in a Masked Dragon, its a Dragon searcher for 1500 or less ATK, you could get your Ryu's, your Troops, your Behemoth, your Pitch-Darks, your Ragnarok and so.

While this isn't my deck, I'll say this; In my spares, there are alot of cards. I do have extra Masked Dragons, but I can't find them right now (3 are in my own deck though) Also, I showed my brother the Dragon's Mirrors, and he liked them, but when it came time to put his deck together, he chose old school Poly, for a reason I will never know.

I also have a King of the Swamp somewhere, which I definetly passed through. I'll find it though. Also, when did Spirit Ryu's effect get Limited to 1? I thought you could use multiples.

As for removal, I have Negate Attacks and Nobleman of Crossout, which were probably overlooked. All Saks and Widespreads are in my deck.

Also, I found the 30 Monsters to be disturbing >.>

Actually for Spirit Ryu's effect, you can discard as many dragons as you want during your Battle Step, but 1 at a time in regards to cost purposes. It combos well with Super Rejuvenation.
