YGO - ADV format Third gen Judai deck

[Haruka's Swimsuit]

This is the third (or fourth) incarnation of this deck. Initially, it was a Dragon and Warrior deck, but when KONAMI kiboshed Metamorphosis, I switched over to Dragon and E-Hero. Unfortunately, over time, the Dragons have been thinned out and taken some of the Warriors with them- so I'm left with an E-Hero deck with a bunch of cards that Judai uses, so I guess it's a Judai deck...

The english one's aren't stupid. They're just names used to translate "Featherman" and "Burst Lady". Cards that wouldn't make so much sense in their english adaption.

Run an Alien deck once the cards are released. Mabye a few E-Hero's can work in conjuction with them.

How the blood-drenched hell is 'Avian' a translation for a name that already made plenty of sense? He's a "man" with "feather"ed wings; it's not like he was a flippered robot named "Featherman." And how does "Burstinatrix" make anymore sense than "Burst Lady"? She's a female member of a superhero team; I don't see anything in her flavour text about taking money from salarymen to whip them for an hour...

Well, Featherman doesn't really make proper sense in english terms. Avain sounds better then (my opinion) Featherman.

The intire -inatrix part of her name is just a suffix used for female homo sapiens. -inatrix can mean anything. Burstinatrix means Burst Lady or Burst Woman. Even Burst Female. Dominatrix just blends the owrds Dominating and Inatrix. A dominating female, Dominatrix.


It makes sense in the end.

How exactly do you go from arguing about a name's grammatical merits to stating an opinion about it? If anything, your arguement of "Avian" making more sense is nothing more than blind aesthetic.

The suffix "-trix" is all that's needed to indicate the character being female, but its use is completely moot since "-trix" is only used as the female equivalent of "-tor." The fact that KONAMI used more than half of the word, clearly indicates they were trying to associate Burst Lady with dominatrices.


I'm done arguing with you. I made this thread for advice on how to improve my deck. All you've done is insult my preferences, make purile arguements to backup your claims, and tell me to completely rearrange my deck into some other type I've never even heard of.

About the deck, focus on using only one or two fusion hero. This way you wont have a bunch of useless vanillas in your hands.
ex:
You have Featherman(Avian) and Burst Lady(Burstinatrix) to fuse for Flame Wingman

Its not a bad deck considering most of the E-hero decks I've run across SUCK!My old union deck could kill most of the E-hero wanna be decks.Although There is one deck people have been trading around my school and throwing cards into it.Its pretty good as of now but my freinds Feind/Raveil(Sorry I always crapped out his spelling) Deck slaughtered it.But I haven't seen anyone with steam healer.The deck does have shining flare though which isn't half bad.My light/Hamon deck had a bit of trouble but I won.But what you've got with reinforcement of the army and maurading captain is really good.Over all I think its a good deck

Thanks for the words of encouragement, DBM. It's rather rare to find anyone that would compliment a deck like this.

I'll take that under advisement, but such a move would ruin the theme of the deck. I designed this as a deck that uses as many of the E-Hero fusions as possible- that way I'm not stuck with "useless vanillas" in my hand. Your advice seems to facilitate and encourage "useless vanillas." If I only have one or two E-Hero Fusions then I'm limiting myself. All of the E-Hero Fusions are useful, given the right circumstance; but meta players are too distracted by this one or that one to take the time to use any others.


By the way, I updated my deck with some EOJ Fusions and a few other cards I picked up cheap.

Try getting Fusion Gate. So you won't need Polymerization.
