If the title wasn't a dead giveaway, this is a Plant deck. Sort of. It's not STRICTLY plant, primarily because I'm still a machines fanboy after all these years, and also Spear Cretin. But he's in most decks ever, thus...

Obviously, the two cards that I have one each of are not very important for me. Most of this should be obvious to figure out strategy-wise, but if you miss it...

Also, any help is greatly appreciated. To my knowledge, this all fits in fine with current restricted lists, though I might have missed something. Not so likely, though, since I did check these before putting this together.

Machines and Plants don't mix, unless you're gonna go down the Plant Drain route, which is relatively confusing.

Is this JUST beatdown? Because Plants aren't really a beatdown type, they use Control/Synchro.

Rose Tentacles is meh.

Ivy Shackles and the other terrible "Summon a plant token to your opponents field" are worse.

not if you can kill your opponent with that. it really works if you use the right cards, like when you use gigantic cephalotus, use plant food chain on him, destroy a plant with bamboo scrap and summon the tokens, destroy one with cepha, use domino effect, destry samsara lotus' effect to use domino effect and by to the second token and protect against tributing the tokens with polynosis. thats how you power up cepha in one turn, if you can do that kind of things a several times then you can easily whipe out your opponents lifepoints

thats where polynosis kicks in, and giving you tokens and destroy them, powers up me

yeah, thats why there always need to be other plants on your field, you can use seed of deception or samsara lotus for this, i never had a problem with that and polinosys means again an extra 200 atk for cephalotus, so in while you wont need it will be strong enough to let you tribute (which powers up again)

The only relatively good cards that produce tokens for the opponent are probably Black Garden, Ojama Trio, Nightmare Fiends and that obsure Cactus Fighter, and even then CF is only okay in it's own deck.

your right, well then theyre only usefull for rose pentacles ad it gives only 1 power up then, not a big deal, ivy shackles lift
