This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, draw cards from your Deck until you have 5 cards in your hand.

Yamata Dragon is the lesser of two evils. We'll get into the other evil tomorrow. Yamata has seen some sideboard play, comboed with Mausoleum of the Emperor for an easy summon-beat-revive hand sort of thing. And such tom foolery is not that difficult to do. I prefer setting this monster, especially using the field, if you have protection for it down, you shouldnt fear NoXout or the swordsmen. And if they're not paying attention to "I pay 2000" then they probably will hit this facedown card, fall short, and fill your hand. The hydra is yet another underused card with a decent effect.
Advanced Format: 3/5 (This hurts when played correctly.)
