Who else has played this wonderful game? What do you think of it? What do you like/dislike about it the most? What are your best/worst memories playing it? Do you still have it?
I absolutely LOVE this game. I still charge up some batteries just so I can use my Super Scope for extended periods of time. I've beaten it on Easy mode numerous times, but Big Boo ALWAYS kills me on Hard Mode. I love pretty much everything about this game; its music is great to just listen to, the levels are fun to play over and over again, the concept is absolutely awesome, the bosses are fun as hell to beat up time and time again, and the sound effects aren't at all annoying or grating. The story isn't the best, but oh well. I like the whole thing with the gems. If I had to choose one thing, though, it'd be the music. My favorite song is the theme to Spirit Mountain, the level where you fight Morton in his froggy mech.
My absolute best memories with this game all involve my brother and I playing. We'd switch off being Mario and Yoshi...I usually played as Yoshi, though, because he hogged the Super Scope. It was a great way to shut me up so that older brother could get some peace. XD
I still own it today. Superscope and receiver are both intact, still work like the day we got them. The cart is in pristine and crisp mint condition as well.
